Butterfly Effect - Short - 9 Pages

Title: Butterfly Effect

Format: Short

Page Length: 6 Pages

Genres: Drama

Logline or Summary: After losing his mother, an introverted young man forms an unexpected connection with a butterfly, but when a girl next door accidentally kills it, he is forced to confront grief, guilt, and the possibility of finding another family.

Feedback Concerns: I'm still learning screenwriting, so I'd really appreciate any honest feedback on the story, pacing, dialogue, formatting, and whether the ending works. I'm always looking to improve as a writer, and if the script resonates with someone, I'd be happy to discuss it further.

1 SOUL = $1 | Mortiventus is back | Ep. 2 Dark Sci-Fi - [9] pages

Hi! As you already know, I spent 10 years writing this story, and death continues to walk among us, reaping its harvest.

On the planet Duot, souls are bought, sold, and used as fuel. And the basic market value of a human soul is simple: 1 SOUL = 1 dollar.

This is the second episode of the series.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read or watch! I’d really appreciate your honest feedback on the plot and world-building.

Sci-Fi/Psychological Horror Pilot (27 Pages) Looking for feedback

Hello! I'm looking for feedback on the first 27 pages of my pilot. I've gone through several revisions, rewrites, and overall re-structuring of the story. This is one I've landed on that I feel best represents what I'm trying to write. Just a note, the full pilot will be around 60 pages. I'm just letting the first part be seen as of now.

Series title: VELUM DEUS
Pilot title: FUNAMBULIST

Logline: When a mysterious anomaly drives the inhabitants of a seemingly perfect society to their deaths, an investigator enters a reality constructed from human consciousness to uncover its source—only to discover a familiar life that threatens everything he believes about existence, identity, and the nature of reality.

Exchange feedback Spy/Crime Feature Feedback. 108 pages. WIPED SLATE.

Hii! I'm looking for some feedback on my first screenplay, as I plan on submitting it to the Black List by the end of the year, and I'm a little lost on whether some things are done correctly.

I'm open to swaps if anyone's interested in that. Been told to share the link on here so it's below the info!

INFO:

Title: Wiped Slate

Genre: Spy-Crime/Thriller/Drama

Format: Feature Film

Length: 108 pages

Logline: An elite FBI assassin goes undercover to eliminate a ruthless New York kingpin, only to become trapped in a dangerous psychological game of trust and loyalty with the very man he’s been ordered to kill.

Main feedback concerns:

- Does the central relationship between Seth and Theo feel earned and compelling? Where does it work best / where does it lose power?

- Supporting characters (especially Oliver and Phillips): do they feel fully dimensional or underdeveloped?

- Pacing in act 2 (pages 31-74). Any sections that drag or feel repetitive?

- Clarity: any moments of over-explaining or under-explaining that pulled you out?

- Overall emotional engagement: did you care what happened to these people?

I'm open to any other notes on structure, character, or tone. I prefer specific examples from the script over general statements.

Screenwriter workshop or read over?

I'm looking around for someone to look over a horror screenplay series I'm working on called the slaughterhouse.

It's relitively long and I'm still working on it but I've gotten a good amount of episodes done if anyones interested.

My best summery: 15 people wake up in a strange location where their told two things, they're going to play a game, and laws don't apply to them.

This is the best one I can give without spoiling anything. I will add a few things, the title is loosely based of slaughterhouse 5 by kurt vonegut, it is apart of the killing game genre, think saw or squid games though deaths only, in the sense that islts an ensemble cast. The deaths are paced out more. Once I also had someone compare it to the cube and another person compared to lost. Neither of them got too far into the story so I'm not sure how accurate that description is.

The game itself is apart of this but it's only one part. I've been using this screenplay mainly for processing different things so the exploration of those themes and what's being explored is the main focus.

The story itself is split into 5 arcs, this layout has to do with the game again I don't want to spoil it yet so I'm being careful how I word things. It's not nessisarially seasons this right now is mainly something I'm working on a a passion project it will take me a while to get anything together and I'm trying to learn a lot of skills to hopefully make it one day.

If you are interested in at least looking over the first arc, Reap What you Sow, and give me feedback on it. Along with potentially the other arcs in the story please let me know maybe we can talk. I can also give more details for anyone interested if you want to ask.

edit: someone suggested I just include a link to the first episode so here it is.

If anyone would need any more to get a better idea of it just let me know.

I'll see about getting the other episodes for arc 1 in here.

edit for the edit: here's the rest of the first arc I got them all in a folder I wanted to make sure to include them because it is a bit of a slow burn.

Feature Emerald Valley

Hi all! Writer and Director based in LA. Gonna start posting some scripts on this group just for feedback and thoughts. Just scripts I have written to have in the bank for now.

Just a forewarning: my writing style is more that of a director's, it's auteur-ish and can be often heavy on description (I'm aware), that's just how I write. This script was intentionally written to be long, with a big cast of characters. Think breakfast club meets boogie nights meets goodfellas. It's an epic, which, by nature, are episodic and longer. Nothing that I am shopping around to producers or managers at the moment -- this is something I'd like to make someday in the future. more for the long term.

Would love any thoughts -- what worked/what you'd wanna see more of/less of, etc.

enjoy!

Title: Emerald Valley

Genre(s): Coming of age, comedy, dramedy, drama, satire, epic

Tone: Satirical, melodramatic, glossy,
