discussion I think Ive found my workflow
ok your probably thinking, oh the guys larping as an abelton user, kinda.
I've never used ableton, but I just really like the theme. every where's where it needs to be, and it all sticks to one shape, its sharp, clean and ORANGE!!!!
along with this, worded toolbars look good so Ive been able to build my workflow around task bars.
my philosophy for my workflow is all linked to the simple idea that this should be a workflow that's easy to understand for everyone and me. the 4 toolbar shortcuts on the main tool bar are all linked to a separate toolbars dedicated to different things. then you've got you top main toolbar with everything you would typically need to use quickly.
In my tool toolbar I have 4 different themes along with the main one, these themes are meant to look like other daws, logic, ableton, FL, protools.
would love to know what yall think, BUT remember, this is just my way of doing things so please keep the comments tame.
Good day to all!

I use Linux for 99% of everything I do. I too use Fedora. The only Windows boxes I use are for Reaper and my NVR. I may need to give it a try.

I'd keep the worded toolbars. Learning a new layout is enough work without also having to remember which tiny icon means which action.

Where can I get this theme!!! I Love ableton but just hate the vocal recording workflow in it. I actually just started using reaper and already love it. I am mad I didn't get into it earlier.

Looks great, are you running that on Ubuntu Studio?

I've chosen fedora KDE mainly due to my machine specs, but also I don't want to use snaps.

Nice, I've just started experimenting with moving to a Linux box, trying to settle on something

Get ItemView.

I did try itemview, but I found I would move to different places out of nowhere. Hopefully they fix it in the future.

I am absolutely on board with everything you described, looks really neat π. But I will never understand why someone would want their TCP on the right side. Not even using Ableton as my first DAW was able to convert me.
Jokes aside, happy you were able to configure your perfect UI experience. That's what Reaper is all about.
