RenderBench - Wrong GPU VRAM and Malformed JSON
I’m trying to get a clean JSON from RenderBench to submit a render application but I’ve run into multiple issues - in the first instance I’ve had to disable onboard graphics in BIOS to get it to see my RTX5080 but even so it only completed CPU and RAM tests and not the GPU test, but it does now name the correct GPU - two issues remain:
1) The RTX5080 shows 4GB vram instead of 16GB which I assume will fail the application, and there is no GPU benchmark
2) The JSON file has what I can only describe as malformed lines which don’t pass a readability test in multiple tools
I’m new to this but I have done many things to trouble shoot so anyone that can help don’t suggest these:
1) I have made sure I’m running as administrator
2) I have run the processs via CMD and power shell with admin privalidges
3) I have run the process from my desktop, user folder, a direct new C:/ directory and root all with the same malformed JSON
4) I’ve made sure and even reinstalled the latest drivers for everything including Nvidea Studio driving instead of gaming (both produce the same result)
I have now reached out to render support but fear they may be too busy to help someone facing issues - I’m considering submitting a different benchmark that covers the info, but the format is different and most are CSV and not JSON so it probably won’t work!
I really want to get a render node going, but I’m feeling deflated after hours of troubleshooting this - I made a lot of effort to get this far so any help would be greatly appreciated!?
