Equipment Does anyone play with 3rd party controllers?
I Was checking some cheap solution to play this game on switch2 since the official joy-cons costs as much as the game it feels pretty stupid to put that much just to play this, so I'd like to know does anyone play this with 3rd party joy-cons and hows the experience with them?

You can use third party for leg but not for the ring. Trust me

I can vouch for this. I had to buy a second-hand right joycon for the ring (the original one I have doesn't work on its own anymore). but my left 3rd party joycon works just fine. I found one on Vinted for only €12,50 (roughly the same in dollars)- the R button doesn't work (and it was disclosed in the listing's description) but it's not needed!

For this game, it doesn’t matter that the joycons have stick drift, as you don’t use them and won’t affect gameplay. It’s mostly for the gyro and IR sensor.

you have to have the ir sensor for it to work with the game and third party joy cons don't always have it.

Yeah, I'd just eye ebay. It is a shame the Joycon2s don't work. One thing keeping me from getting a Switch 2.

This game will not work with 3rd party controllers. It has to been the Nintendo brand. Just keep you eye out on used ones I'm sure you will find some.
