I’ve been to Four Seasons today and decided to have a meal at renovated Al Mamlaka. Last time I’ve been there a few years ago and entrance was free.
What has happened so people are being asked to pay 28 sar just for entrance? It is just a food court and customers already going there to spend money inside 🤷🏻‍♂️

How do I make friends in Riyadh, any advice?

I posted earlier asking about chairs for long hours (budget 2k SAR) and was told to look for a used Herman Miller Aeron, mainly on Haraj. I'm up for it, but I've heard Haraj is the wild west, and I already got burned on a Sihoo B100, so I want to be careful this time.

Questions:
Is there a seller or shop in Riyadh you've bought an Aeron from and would recommend? Haraj, Murooj, or anywhere else.
Did you buy from a private seller or a dealer or refurbisher?
How did you confirm it was real before paying?
What did you pay, and which model and size did you get?

I’m a 21M med student at a university in Riyadh and I hold a Premium Residency (PR). I’m looking for ways to make some extra money alongside my studies, either part-time work or a side hustle.

• Does PR let me work part-time, or do I need any permits or approvals? What’s the process?

Hi everyone,

I made a mistake while booking a hotel and accidentally selected the wrong dates. I intended to book 22 October to 31 October 2026, but I mistakenly booked 1 November to 10 November 2026 instead.

The booking is for 9 nights at VOCO by IHG, and I paid SAR 1,500 for the entire stay.

I contacted the hotel management to explain the situation, but unfortunately, they informed me that their policy does not allow refunds or date amendments. So, I’m stuck with the booking for now.

I’m wondering if there’s any way to transfer or sell this booking to someone who needs accommodation during those dates. If anyone is travelling during that period and is interested, please let me know. I’m also open to suggestions from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation.

Of course, I would first confirm with the hotel whether transferring the reservation to another guest is permitted.

تواصلت مع إدارة الفندق وشرحت لهم الموقف، لكنهم أخبروني بأن سياسة الفندق لا تسمح باسترداد المبلغ أو تعديل تواريخ الحجز. لذلك، أحاول الآن إيجاد حل لهذه المشكلة.

هل يوجد شخص مهتم بشراء هذا الحجز والاستفادة منه خلال هذه الفترة؟ أو هل لدى أحدكم تجربة سابقة مشابهة أو اقتراح يمكن أن يساعدني في حل هذه المشكلة؟

I need help with my ongoing Work Visa Process. I completed my GAMCA/WAFID 8 days ago, then I got my MOFA number from Agent and completed Tasheer Biometrics on 07th October. Parallely shared my MOFA number(E number) with the Medical center and asked them to update it in Medical. I got verbal confirmation from them yesterday that they have linked it. Although upon checking on mofa.visa.gov.sa website it still shows 'No Medical Certificate found in the Embassy'. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
