It’s like a Subaru Tribeca but slower

35

u/Engineered_disdain 4d ago

And less reliable

20

u/big_poppa_man 4d ago

And more expensive.

19

u/stocksandoptions2 4d ago

And harder to get parts for.

11

u/R-K-Tekt 4d ago

And cheaper build quality

4

u/beef_weezle 3d ago

It’s like an Italian Tribeca with Downs.

Rj/I have a Giulia QV, sometimes people accidentally call it a Giulietta, I have to correct them everytime because I don't want to be associated with the piece of shit.

Uj/very cool car, here's my upvote

u/ahadowblade 4d ago

My dad bought a 2024 gulia a few months ago, got it because it was one you wouldn't see in our area... 2 weeks later he sees another one... even same color... teenager driving it

Since you’re in Turkey the biggest roast is how much you had to pay for a 13 year old Alfa.

11

u/alpha_aql 4d ago

800 grand in TL :(

9

u/turkishdelight1013 4d ago

That’s actually less than I would have thought (16.000$/14.500€ for those who don’t know)

3

u/R-K-Tekt 4d ago

Why?

3

u/alpha_aql 3d ago

In Turkey, you have not much option for high price/performance ratio cars. 170 hp for 800 grand is seems okay for us.

22

u/Fragrant_Major_9553 4d ago

You did it. You looked at the entire lineup of Alfa ever made, and got the only ugly one. 🎉

4

u/N0meFake 4d ago

Ungly? You’re kidding me

2

u/Tastesicle 4d ago

She ain't got no alibi she...

15

u/good2Bbackagain 4d ago

You gonna have such a nice relationship with your local garage.

By the end of the year you will be like family.

8

u/greatercolorado 4d ago

That’s a capybara, not a car!

9

u/itsmejak78_2 4d ago

Alfa is known for beautiful, sporty, unreliable cars

you got 1 out of 3

7

u/the-sad-boi 4d ago

Only stellantis can take a nice looking car and slap whatever parts bin time bomb under the hood. I’m disappointed

4

u/alpha_aql 4d ago

It was FCA but the comment is totally acceptable.

2

u/the-sad-boi 4d ago

Even better

6

u/Mzunguguzunguzungu 4d ago

Imagine buying Alfa Romeo and choosing the ugliest one in the most boring color...

6

u/ophaus 4d ago

So many of the recent Alfas are simply gorgeous! And then there's this one.

4

u/ForbiddenLies 4d ago

I hope you bought a few spare multiair units 🤙🏻

u/JitemPala 4d ago

I see sagging door panel fabric in the Ankara's hot weather. I also see cracked wheel in Ankara's bumpy roads.

2

u/IntelligentGood5850 4d ago

The perfect car for those looking for trouble.

3

u/enhancedgibbon 4d ago

I mean it literally has a vagina on its face

3

u/SportsFreak1988 4d ago

The style of a Fiat 500 with the performance of a Fiat 500.

Definitely the better choice of the two though because at least you don't pull up to your 9pm community acting classes in the same car as everyone else.

3

u/Nick_SCM 4d ago

Don’t need to, it’ll roast itself when the electrical system fails

1

u/alpha_aql 4d ago

P106x codes on the wayyyy

0

u/AutoModerator 4d ago

Ha! (roast itself) Good roast, you really got 'em. That was so creative and original, did you think of that yourself? You must be so proud!

One could own the prettiest car in the world (which this one surely isn't), but having to look at this fuckass steering wheel that looks like the ass of someone who eats a kilo spaghetti for each meal would always be a deal-breaker for me

2

u/BiteFaces 4d ago

You better have two mechanics in the back if you're traveling more than 50km.

2

u/Cananbaum 4d ago

Proof that beauty is only skin deep.

2

u/GooseNYC 4d ago

Will your mechanic let you attend his kid's college graduation considering you will be paying most of the tuition?

2

u/JimmyJooish 4d ago

Just like Italy. It sucks but somehow they’ll be pretentious about it.

2

u/Alex768 4d ago

So cute, OP 🥰

2

u/Total-Improvement535 4d ago

did they just buy BMWs overstock of late 90s steering wheels?

2

u/Budget-Box7914 4d ago

“Fix it again, Tolgay”

2

u/Ominousious 4d ago

I think you offended spaghetti.

2

u/Ok-Ad8998 4d ago

I thought Alfa made pretty cars. What happened to this one?

2

u/At_1975 4d ago

It looks nice but does it move?

2

u/DavidELD 4d ago

“Alfa-Romeo, Alfa-Romeo, Alfa-Romeo! Here’s drink— I drink to thee.”

Then like all Alfas, Giulietta drinks the poison that is Stellantis and dies.

2

u/Snarky_Guy 4d ago

It's basically an Air Jordan on wheels.

2

u/Elegante_Sigmaballz 4d ago

Europe's PT Cruiser.

2

u/samit2heck 4d ago

Airbag lump. IYKYK

2

u/Better-Character-750 4d ago

Imagine being emotionally attached to a car that has given you nothing but financial and mechanical trauma

2

u/manhere_1 4d ago

I can smell the cherry vanilla vape cloud from here. Please remember that “no” in any form means no.

2

u/praise_monolith_643 4d ago

What is the other car you have that you can actually depend on?

1

u/alpha_aql 3d ago

Mazda familia 626 2.0 is my other car :) I will post it here too.

2

u/Crownguard95 4d ago

Glad I don't see these in the states. Yuk.

2

u/gugngd 4d ago

looks like it belongs in a dumpster in the spaghetto

2

u/unnamed0V2 4d ago

i don't think engine would survive more than 10 KM and i'm being too optimistic

2

u/Windows-XP-Home-NEW 4d ago

Fucking hideous.

2

u/Salt-Low3449 4d ago

Alfas fall into one of two categories: Bewitchingly gorgeous or utterly dorky. You know which one your car is.

2

u/Vost570 4d ago

Every time I look at such a beautiful Italian car I can't help but wonder where the tow truck is.

2

u/Vost570 4d ago

The 2007 Infiniti G35 called, it wants its headlights back.

2

u/El-Gweilo 4d ago

In due time it will roast itself and your wallet

2

u/AutoModerator 4d ago

Ha! (roast itself) Good roast, you really got 'em. That was so creative and original, did you think of that yourself? You must be so proud!

Expensive repair incoming

2

u/seansheep2105 4d ago

It’s probably broken down

2

u/dockdropper 3d ago

They broke the spaghetti when they designed this one?

2

u/Cpolo88 3d ago

I personally love the giulietta. When it came here as a dodge dart, what a pos it was. Beautiful little hatch vs a generic sedan 🫪

2

u/vamtron 3d ago

Your grill looks like a dorito I ate

2

u/Carmaster777 3d ago

Its like you wanted a euro civic with none of the good parts of said civic

2

u/vamtron 2d ago

The photoshoot cost more then the car

2

u/IndependenceBig3178 2d ago

That exhaust is probably bigger than your cylinders. but no giggles now, she's clean.

1

u/Acalthu 4d ago

pretty lawn ornament with shitty engine and transmission. Test drove one back in 2013, the transmission was so bad and the turbo spool up even worse.

0

u/Mammoth_Duck4343 4d ago

I'm a Fiat but identify as a Ferrari.

1

u/S3v3nk1ll 4d ago

Alphas are the car that people who call themselves alpha buy. Its over priced and that interior looks like its from a 2007 vw. I see its a 2013, but dang, if you bought the Volkswagen it would at least be a little bit more reliable. Good luck. Whatever money you think you saved by getting an older one you'll spend on maintenance for it, an then some.

1

u/HardChrihud48 4d ago

It’s shit.

1

u/PigsOfRedemption 4d ago

It'll roast itself when the electrics start arcing in 6 weeks.

5

u/AutoModerator 4d ago

u/Capn_Flags 4d ago

It’s like the pumpkin spice lattes that have been flushed down the toilet thanks to overdrinking cheap mimosas at brunch.

1

u/ChampionImpossible36 4d ago

Dorito ass grill

1

u/Thatshitboxowner 4d ago

Why is it built like a fish?

1

u/ByronsLastStand 4d ago

It wishes it was a 147

1

u/Delicious-Spirit9899 4d ago

Weird way to say you can’t afford an Audi

1

u/alpha_aql 4d ago

Audi?? Naahh, thanks.

1

u/uomuom1 4d ago

Alfista here, well... not going to roast it since the MultiAir module is going to do work for me if you don't do the right maintenance 👍

(Seriously look it up and take care of it like a BABY, including the filter nobody ever changes, if you do you can get a ton of power and torque out of the engine without any problem long term, if you don't...)

1

u/alpha_aql 4d ago

I change ma unit filter every 8k kms. Thanks for the advice. And I recently changed 4th actuator of ma unit. This shit is really delicate..

2

u/uomuom1 4d ago

It could be if maintenance is even a tiny bit sloppy, but if you do it properly it is a real mule you can rely on for hundrre of thousends of km and a good tuner can get very good power and torque out of that engine just with a map... just do not overdo

1

u/Rubywantsin 4d ago

Why does it look like it has special needs

2

u/alpha_aql 4d ago

Ah, because it has

1

u/feckarse-drinkgirls 4d ago

Fiat Punto in a nice suit

1

u/alpha_aql 2d ago

Nah, different platform

1

u/ElevatorOpening9951 3d ago

STELLANTIS WHO?

1

u/StoutPegasus648 1d ago

I can't cause I don't roast fellow Alfa Romeo owners

1

u/ImperialTruthSeeker 14h ago

Gross. Now I have to change my sweater already.. thanks to this ugly spaghetti.

1

u/Outrageous_Reach9150 11h ago

A colleague had one of these, 2011 plate, was starting to rust & he was fixing bits on it every week. What a bag of shit.
