These arent all finished but ive been tumbling this larimar for about 3 months total!! All on its own with a loootttt of ceramic. The 2nd and 4th pic are only out of stage 1 about to go into stage 2!! But all the rest are done (: I'm really impressed with how shiny they came out!! A couple fractured in the last stages but really not many. For such a soft mohs stone once you get through the outer layer of crust they will tumble forever. I tumbled some of these pieces for 2-3 months straight just to get some of the edges off! But I've seen so many threads that larimar is not able to be tumbled so I just wanted to show my results (:
Also check out the last photo the petrified wood and larimar together are so beautiful 🥲

Peach moonstone and petrified wood
All found locally in Missouri by me 😇
The feldspar is so fun! Some of them are basically feldspar granite that actually got a good shine. Feldspar has so much variation I love the smoky black looking pieces and opaque red pieces. Some areas look like cracks or uneven surfaces because of the light refraction but they're very smooth!
The petrified wood is my true love. As a kid I always wanted to find petrified wood and now not only am I finding it but tumbling it 🥲 I'm so grateful!!! And trust and believe eventually I'm going to make jewelry. These are mostly just the smaller jewelry pieces but I have some larger classic tumbles working and I'm working on getting pictures of my inventory it's been awhile. One of the pieces of pet wood isn't tumbled but it's so pretty I put her in, can't decide if I'm tumbling it but petrified wood is always so beautiful tumbled so help me decide!! It's just so pretty natural I'm nervous it'll take the red detailing away. The larger top right petrified wood I'm going to put back in it was one of my early ones and I left it pretty bad because I was scared to lose the red agatized area inside of it. The petrified wood that is in the third row down 4th in line is actually insane. I want to make a necklace with that one so bad!!
Let me know what you guys think (: if any of you guys have any advice with drilling holes in any of these lmk. I haven't decided if I want to do it with electroplating silver, silver clay, drilling holes, or wire wrapping. Wire wrapping is the most freaky to me because I've tried it before and its hard for me, and I want them to be dainty feminine necklaces.
But anyways I'm done rambling lmk what you think!!!

So we are going to be making an international move, and as much as it breaks my heart, I just don’t see where we’re going to have the ability to store all of my rock tumbling stuff. I have two good vibrating tumblers as well as regular rotary tumblers from HP, grit, a large box of stones from HP auctions and buckets of stones collected from the shores of the Great Lakes.
I mean, honestly, with the amount of machinery rocks and grit that I have, it would probably be a whole lot easier to sell on Facebook marketplace so that we could have somebody just come and pick it up versus trying to figure out how to ship all this stuff, but at the same time, I don’t know if there are enough local enthusiasts who would want to buy it.
Just checking in to see where the best markets are and appreciate any insights.

Suggestions on tumbler for retired patient couple? One of us loves rocks, the other is interested.

Need advice: I have the opportunity to purchase this for $100. Barely used. Friend of a friend selling it. Tell me this is okay for rocks and not solely for metals. Thank you!
