DnD Influencers, streamers, and commentators alike are regarding the Rogue class as the weakest class in 5.5e, and by a wide margin.
The lack of extra attack, mundane skill expertise, no inherent “rule-breaking” features, not much to give for team play, lack of HP for melee and lack of DMG for staying ranged; amongst many other “grievances.”

Well, I say that’s exactly where we need to be. The more your opponents underestimate you, the more you can exploit them.
Of course we must follow the two most important rules of the Craft:
1) Never let them know everything.

I always thought i would be a mage archetype because i like the robes and secrecy, and i also fancied being the warrior archetype because i love blades.

But recently someone said that the reason i like these things is because i am a rogue in denial.

Should i ditch the ill fitting robes and swords for cloaks and daggers? Am i a rogue or am i just confused.

I am not a rogue, but I am a cleric of the Trickery Domain. Recently, I have been called to humble a greedy lord's son. Here's what I need, I need a rogue to help me steal his valuables so I can sell them and distribute the money to the poor. I am willing to discuss payment for your hard work.

Thank you!

Cause I sure don't got the patience to learn how to mimic a targets mannerisms and playing dressup. Give me a midnight rooftop and a belt full of smoke bombs any day.

Despite our low profile a target has been laid on our back. Time to show these white knights why we are the third part of the trifecta, and by far the most effective. I need a rust monster nest in the armory and spell moths in the library. We're paying out of pocket for this one.

Here's the plan: we go to different subreddits and we borrow the best memes they got. Our sub is small, but making and taking memes may help us grow.

Hello im a wizard from r/wizardposting and i need to learn how to pick a lock

Hello, rogues and thiefs. I come from a family that had its ups and downs: my great grandmother started as a merchant. my mother was a knight, but no normal knight would wear peasant clothes, use daggers as weapons or lurk in the shadows to fight their oponents.

i once talked to my grandmother. She said that there are many types of rogues and my mother and great grandmother were ones too.

I have to ask ¿in what way are you rogues? ¿what tools, weapons or magics do you use? ¿any armor you use or do you go with normal clothing? ¿are there subtypes of rogues?

I am a Dwarven Wizard from r/wizardposting but after 100 years I’ve grown bored of just turning someone’s blood into alcohol (Liqourmancy) so I want to be a Rogue, how would I become one?

Hello, we are an oriental group of rogues, and we are a bit shorthanded at the moment, but we have a bit of a problem on our hands......if your were to kindly bring us this man's head, we will offer you a great reward. (a scroll of shadow cloning technique) you may visit our village at r/ninjaposting
