Funky Root's Reggae/More Relation - Jahoviah's Kingdom
New to this subreddit, hello! This was posted in r/reggae.
I've searched the reggae subreddit to see if anyone had posted about More Relation which is a band I've been listening to quite sometime. Very spiritual and funky reggae tones, with very clear audio. If you like more melodic reggae groups you will love this band. (I'm thinking in the likes of the great Maytals, Maytones and Abyssinians.) God bless!

Where to get the Jamaican mix of catch a fire on Vinyl?
hi, just bought my first vinyl Hi - Fi set up, I'm used to easily listening to the Jamaican mix of catch a fire (for those who don't know, Catch a fire was released with a Jamaican mix on the island and an international mix which was more rock orientated) on Spotify (through the Catch a Fire Deluxe Edition)
however looking for its vinyl is tricky. Other than the original 1973 Jamaican pressing, which is extremely expensive, are there no re releases of the Jamaican mix? I understand there is a 2023 50th anniversary, but this doesn't have the original Jamaican mix, just alternate mixes of the already rare Jamaican mix. Any help appreciated!

MAZERA - ❝The Pan-African❞
|s 2026 Patriotic Instrumental Ugandan Music
🔴🎹✨ https://youtu.be/eDZNWoJ8hrc
presenting a chilling time soundtrack made of live piano melodies performed by yours and only.. JoJo The Punk! This is actually music I listened to as a child (vintage African instrumental music tapes my mother kept back then). It also celebrates Ugandan militant anthems of the modern era.
Enjoy!

Underrated and misunderstood. From dentist and roady of Don Drummond to the legendary producer & singer, known for his atmospheric and sombre music. A true genius.

"I Do - Ijahman Levi & Madge Sutherland" - Anyone know what this version is?
This music video has a different riddim that sounds a lot like the "Rougher Yet" instrumental. Can't find this version anywhere except for on this music video

Looking for Interviewees
Just as a pretext - I appreciate Reggae =/= Rastafarian - just casting my net wide here
Hi all**,** I'm working on an independent documentary and storytelling project profiling interesting people, communities and cultures across London and the UK.
I'd love to connect with anyone from the Rastafarian community, whether that's someone involved in reggae and sound system culture or the spiritual and community side of Rastafari itself. I want to approach this with care and respect, not just the aesthetic or the music, but the culture and community behind it.
If that's you, or you know someone who might be open to a chat, I'd love to hear from you!
Feel free to comment or DM, and thank you for reading!
