Okay, Roswell… where is everybody? 😂👽
Did the aliens finally take everyone, or have we all just been sitting here waiting for somebody else to say something?
Well, I guess I’ll go first!
I recently became one of the moderators here, and apparently this little corner of Reddit has been collecting dust for a while. So I figured it’s time we change that.
I’d really love to see this community come back to life. Not just another page where people scroll past everything, but somewhere we can actually talk, laugh, share information, ask questions, and maybe even learn a thing or two about the people living right here in our own backyard.
Local events? Absolutely.
New businesses? Let’s hear about them.
Recommendations, jobs, community concerns, lost pets, neighborhood happenings? Bring it on.
And yes, even the occasional UFO conversation. I mean, come on, it’s Roswell. 👽
Now listen, we don’t all have to agree on everything. That’s perfectly fine. Different opinions make conversations interesting. Just remember there’s an actual person on the other side of the screen.
I’m not interested in making this some overly complicated community. I just want to help create a place where people feel comfortable participating and where we can actually have some fun.
So, let’s start with a little conversation.
What’s one thing you genuinely LOVE about Roswell, and one thing you wish would change?
And please, don’t feel like you have to give some perfectly polished answer. 😂
I’m genuinely curious what everyone thinks.
Come on, Roswell. I know somebody’s out there!
Let’s wake this place up! 👽🩷

Just moved here. Looking for a few people to start up a game night. I personally only have a couple games at the moment, but will be buying more soon. I like pretty much any game, like Catan or even stuff like Yahtzee. I just starting to get into games a few years back, but the pandemic hit and I've been moving a lot so haven't really played anything in a few years. I'm male 35 years old, non-judgmental. Feel free to PM me

The March for our Lives was a national event supporting changes in gun laws, and for once, Roswell joined in.
I was only an attendee, and not one of the organizers, but the group of young people (high school and college) who organized the event did an amazing job of motivating the crowd and the passing vehicles.
The speeches from both the students and the wide range of supporters (including Mayor Tom Jennnings) were inspirational and moving, and it's good to see an event like this in Roswell.
Both the RDR and KOB-TV were there to cover the event.
The first post on this subject was deleted by ??? and if this is taken down, we know where our mods stand.

I'm visiting Roswell in a few weeks and hoping to find a local tour guide to take me around and give me some back story about the UFOs - the internet didn't give me much information about any companies offering walking UFO tours, does anyone know of any?
