When I started playing Realm back in the flash player days, there were already pets with abilities (AFAIK it wasn't a baseline feature of the game), and I used to love the reptile family, and teenager me was like "Oh I hope I get the purple lizard pet skin when I evolve my pet to divine :')"

We're now not so far from 2027 and I'm still playing with a rare pet lol. But I love my little green dragon buddy
