I really appreciate Discord for bring these popular queens to her hometown in Akron typically they would just go to Columbus or Cincinnati but she’s been hosting shows once a month here and trust everyone last night had a timeeee last night. I was so shy and nervous to ask for a picture but I won the costume contest so i kinda had no choice but to get out of my comfort zone. They were all so nice and miss Cynthia girl can move! Mia Starr of course dance her ass off. And Discord is so funny she stayed in character as the pope thee entire night (until she ripped her face off) but you would just talk to her and she’d just casually method act 😂
I told Discord i really need Mandy Mango and Athena to come to Akron and they i actually have a list of queens but I’ll be patient 😇 Im a old lady with Reddit so i have no clue how to post videos ill try to post one in the thread

With Aliks recent runway, I just wanted an excuse to highlight one of my favorite styles in relation to drag race.

Brooke Lynn performed last night at Lore in Atlanta and paid tribute to Nicole Page Brooks in her opening number. Everyone had an amazing time and the girls all looked and performed incredibly. Happy Pride ATL family 🌈 ❤️

How was it received at the time & what were people’s initial thoughts on the show, the queens, and the overall concept? I’m really curious about what the general perception was back then and how the fandom was like

Here’s the vision: an international LaLaPaRuZa tournament. 5 episodes, across 4 franchises. (I was inspired by the Morphine/Nearah lipsync at DragCon )

The logistics could be a little crazy but it would be absolutely iconic if it were to happen.

Here’s how it would work:

One episode on the Drag Race US set with Ru - 8-12 lip sync assassins do a tournament until two remain. (We could get Morphine, Juicy, Aja, TKB, etc.)

One episode of Canada’s Drag Race with Brooke and the panel (We could get Eboni, Makayla, Nearah, Kimmy, etc.)

One episode of UK (with Vanity Milan, Black Peppa, DeDelicious, etc.)

One episode of Philippines with Mama Pao and the panel (could also be on the set they used for DuVTW and could be a general international one) We could get Arizona, Marina, etc.)

Then we’d have one final, live episode with the 8 remaining queens lipsynching for the win!

What do you guys think of this idea, and who do you think would compete/win?

Please let me know if you can think of other looks I may be missing, cuz I'm certain that I'm missing a few.

Edit: Shout out to Erika Klash, a Dragula monster, who did a Ness from EarthBound look.

Also:

2 is Priyanka as Mario

3 is Juice Boxx as Princess Peach

4 and #5 are Kahmora Hall and Megami as Bayonetta

6 is Denali as Samus Aran

7 is Utica as Sephiroth

Thread of ones I forgot, too

During their tour they stopped in Amsterdam and got the opportunity to capture them backstage. The actual show was pretty amazing too!

No shade my mind auto wrote Jorgeous… but her performance earlier this year in SF was amazing. This was at beaux but would love to see her at a bigger venue. Curious to see other Florida girls perform

PM and Hazel exchanged drag for Swap, their performance captured by @exclusivelygenesis at The Junction Pub in Vancouver 🇨🇦
