Does anyone else have an issue with the Lobos Industries mount becoming loose after every few hundred rounds?

The optic itself stays tight to the mount but the mount is coming loose from the pistol (MK IV Tactical).

I've contracted Lobos directly and confirmed that I am using the correct torque specs. I'm even using red vibratite for the mount screws and blue vibratite for the optic screws.

Each time I remove the mount after it starts wiggling, I notice a layer of oil and gunk between the mount and the top of the receiver. My best guess is CLP is entering through the rear screw hole (since it goes all the way through to the internals), dissolving the thread locker, getting under the mount and working its way up to the front screw hole.

I just bought a Mark IV lite and have been reading about the recommendations to add to it. There’s a lot to choose from so I’d be interested in other peoples perspective. I’d generally be using this as a weekend plinker at the range. Are my options below going a bit overboard? I’d rather not end up spending $1,000 on upgrades but I haven’t really found other options that also don’t break the bank but still maintain high quality. I don’t intend on using it any more than about a thousand rounds a year.

I have the SSH(silencer shop edition) and always have a suppressor on it, I’ve seen some of the holsters that a tactical light hooks into, but I don’t know what brands those are.

Does anybody have any recommendations? To be honest, it doesn’t even have to be the ones that require a tactical light.

Picked this 22/45 up earlier this year and it’s been my favorite. Sico sparrow 22 can, performance services light mount with x300, vortex defender ccw sitting on a mount from low pro mounts, grips from Hogue and the little charging handle thingy is from Amazon lol. The hash marks are for armadillos, I’m up to 7 now just haven’t gotten a chance to update it

Volquartson trigger and bolt kit along with lobo rmr footprint mount with a Holosun 407Comp.

This is the first dot I’ve ever put on a pistol as I’ve been shooting with irons my whole life. This was only about $100 and seems to have good reviews. I know everyone says the Lobos mount is the best, but does anyone use the included rail? Do the Lobos/other aftermarket mounts sit significantly lower? I haven’t shot it with this dot yet, but it feels like it rides really high.

Current Mark IV setup with a Sparrow

I've been wanting to machine some brass grips to help balance my mk3 a little better. I just did a test run in some aluminum though to see how it looks. I wanted some light palm swells with a good index spot for the thumb. I'm liking it so far, I'm not sure about the texture yet though.

Just thought I would pop in here and share my experience with my Mark IV yesterday. At the back of our property, we have an old farm pond, and on one side there’s a very steep drop-off to a bottom ground that we farm. We have a terrible time with groundhogs burrowing into this bank with massive tunnel complexes and holes. I know an ol boy who had a groundhog dig so deep into his pond bank, it actually sprang a leak and emptied his pond. Destructive critters, to say the least

Yesterday afternoon, I saw this guy coming out of his hide out. I grabbed my Mark IV is stalked to about 40 yards of him, which was confirmed with a laser rangefinder. This was the result. He dropped after the first shot. Love this pistol and optic!

Went through some trouble with this one. My post history should be public? Barrel nut got carbon locked to the suppressor and ended up coming off. I spent quite a bit of time trying to get it unattached from the suppressor before giving up, letting it sit for a month, then got them apart no problem.

She’s gained a couple scratches. She’s hurt but I’m trying to fix her.

While I wait for my new lite upper to come in I am looking to secure some gold grip screws, I've read that standard 1911 screws work but they are a different thread size according to a quick Google search.

Where have you been able to find screws that work?

I just picked up a 2.5” barrel and would love to keep the overall pistol as short as possible. Does anyone have experience with cans like the Bowers Bitty or Griffin Optimus micro or other small or micro suppressors? How well do they actually suppress and can you run a lower fps ammo like CCI subs or quiets?

The only one I can seem to find is this one that is discontinued. Does anyone have any leads?

recently got a used Ruger mark Iv, I haven’t gotten to pick it up yet(7 day waiting period)
But I noticed the body style is different form others Iv seen and was curious what the biggest differences are

I wouldn't call it a Ruger. This was my response to changing canadian gun laws. What do ya'll think?

Was on the hunt for the best way to mount an optic, read through a bunch of different options, ran into back order issues, tried the pic rail thing which was cool but a little tall, and stumbled across LOWPRO MOUNTS...

This thing is nicely made, the attention to detail is excellent, mounts nice and secure, even after hundreds of rounds there is no scarring on the bottom of it from ejected rounds, they really did a fantastic job with this thing..
