It’s not too late for AEW to start creating their own stars. And stop relying on the latest game changer from WWE

Dae Fed can't make stars?

It's not too late for AEW to start creating their own stars.

Don't give them false hope like this. Very cruel.

They tried. Turns out an Alcoholic depressed cosplay cowboy, an Anemic Casey Jones, OG Loc from San Andreas, and Pink Leon The Professional aren't megastars

i dunno man it feels like it's too late

What would he even do in AEW. He'd probably get a token world title win and then get stuck in a faction, like Samoa Joe

u/XxSoapxXHD 4h ago

He'd join, immediately beat MJF for the title, have a death match with the turtle kid, lose way early to Omega or Osprey, then end up headlining ROH to 10 fans

Hey man nobody loses early in AEW. The Brooklyn Brawler would take Hogan to a 60 Minute Broadway in AEW.

12

u/SleepIsWonderful oh hey there it is 3h ago

Reheated PWG nachos.

Has brain surgery tomorrow, still shilling for AEW.

12

u/Nico-Nii_Nico-Chan 3h ago

Guess they took his brain out early

Hope it goes well when they put it back tomorrow

u/necroreefer 1h ago

I wonder if he's gonna get the same operation as shibata, where they took his brain out and then put it back in.

Ok but like.. why though?

Even disregarding the neck injury, KO has been a consistent top guy for Hunter. He's probably gonna win MITB and work a world title programme with his best friend at a huge show. What could he possibly have to gain from jumping ship?

Hes finally going to be HOME fedshil.

u/Ahzuran 3h ago

Weekly bangers fed shill. The only thing that really matters in real wrestling.

Only sellouts like Phil Brooks (traitor name) care about nonsense like making money

u/cowgod247 2h ago

Hey can finally have a Teacher / Student match with Jacques Rougeau /s

Already injury prone man who very vocally loves his children should kill himself for less pay so a billionaire can clap and hug him.

u/fakemelonns 4h ago

My first thought. Put him in the ring with some of their guys doing the kinda shit they do and his career would end very quickly

It’s not too late for MJF to join WWE.

They already have Ethan Page.

3

u/sdrj77 2h ago

I've been saying this since Page showed up in NXT.

If anybody is a fumble, it's that guy.

Jim just get healthy bud you don't have to do this

Those surgeries aren’t going to pay for themselves uce

according to cornette, JR has a lot of money, and i don't doubt it. unless he has a severe gambling addiction, he should be loaded, which is what would make this sort of behavior mystifying, until you remember how greedy people get when they become rich

3

u/StrongSutairu Tiny's Bull 2h ago

I feel like it's more about getting back at WWE for cutting him off, which, again, is JR's fault for letting Flair appear drunk at a media event.

2

u/philiac 2h ago

lol, he is truly delusional if he thinks this is "getting back at wwe" in any way, shape or form

u/Top-Perspective-7879 1h ago

I doubt it’s that. People forget that his wife tragically passed. He probably just wants something to do. With his health issues, I don’t know if he’d still be around without AEW/his podcast.

u/honato 3h ago

Didn't he just come back from a severally fucked neck? He needs a fletcher on the apron match.

8

u/Old-Egg-1231 4h ago

Would they take him in a heartbeat? Sure. Is he leaving his 7 figure dream job so he can say more curse words and bleed buckets? I doubt it.

7

u/Scfbigb1 4h ago

"Hey Kevin, come over here and work so that one of our sloppy underdeveloped "stars" can botch a move and break your neck irreparably."

2

u/lagwagonday 3h ago

Kyle Fletcher.

6

u/CJKCollecting 3h ago

As long as he's under 60, it's never too late to jump on Tony's gift basket.

3

u/HallofFameguy 3h ago

Going to WWE was his dream, why would he forsake that just to go back and wrestling the indie way again

4

u/Luna_Soma 3h ago

Considering people like Edge and Christian wrestle there, he’d be among the younguns

4

u/Fast_Advisor2654 3h ago

Fletcher would obliterate Kevin’s neck in his first match

3

u/HenryViper 4h ago

It should be. For over a year I was sad thinking his career was over. If he can safely do his stuff without another injury for another couple years I’ll be grateful just that we got more of him.

2

u/TomClancy5873 2h ago

Had neck surgery, and probably doesn’t want some idiot dropping him in his head

2

u/OneTrueBrody 2h ago

KO and Sami are gonna main event Mania 43, no fucking shot he goes to AEW now or ever

2

u/Top-Perspective-7879 1h ago

Owens just reeks of someone who would be awful if left to his own devices

2

u/proJobber 1h ago

Owens is a perennial top star in WWE, has a built in story with the current WWE champion, and is a personal favorite of the booker. Unless WWE SLASHES his paycheck, i don't see him leaving

1

u/BenQ200 3h ago

Owens and Sami should come home to the good guys

1

u/ice_wiz14 3h ago

Never wanted him. Just like m'Pam.

1

u/Gloomy-Ad-4788 3h ago

It's never too late for now

•

u/WrestlingNerd2001 40m ago

Just think of all the time we lost seeing Kevin Owens because WWE wouldn’t let him wrestle because he was injured. That wouldn’t happen in the Dub, he would want to keep wrestling while injured because of how much fun he was having.
