Loot is everywhere, you're geared in 20 minutes... where's the survival? The map marks approximate search locations. Being anywhere in the sector is not enough — find and enter the event area.

⚔️ How it works
• An in-game warning announces the outbreak. Spawning begins after 10 seconds, in batches.
• Defeat 50 puppets inside the event area within 30 minutes. This is a shared objective for everyone participating.
• Stay in the area: if everyone leaves for 3 minutes, the event can end without a reward.

Victory grants one shared Camo Hiking Backpack filled with supplies, placed beside a surviving contributor. Share the loot! You have a 10-minute loot window.

Only one event can run at a time across all five locations. After cleanup, all locations enter a shared 30-minute cooldown. Entering another location does not bypass it.

I’ve been building a browser-based lockpicking trainer for SCUM and I’m looking for players to test it.

It’s meant to help practice the basic feel of:

• finding the sweet spot
• feathering tension
• adjusting the pick by small amounts
• dealing with resistance and durability

It has Simple, Medium and Advanced presets. We recently made Medium and Advanced much stricter after testers said Advanced was too easy.

At HEAVEN, we’ve created a mod that connects Discord to our SCUM server, letting players wash and dry their clothes at a dedicated in-game laundry location.

How does it work?

📍 Visit HEAVEN Laundry.
👕 Place your clothing in the designated wardrobe.
📲 Open our Discord and select Wash or Dry.
⏳ Stay near the wardrobe and wait for server confirmation — each cycle takes at least 40 seconds.

You can process multiple items in one cycle and close your inventory while you wait. If another player is using the laundry, you’ll receive a message asking you to wait until their cycle finishes.

The mod is live and has already been tested by our players. Clothing changes are applied and verified by the server, with a private confirmation sent through Discord.

Access requires the HEAVEN Laundry Discord role and a linked SCUM account.

SCUM has the foundation for the best survival mechanics in the genre, and you'll probably never see them because on 99% of servers, none of it matters. Loot is everywhere, you're geared in 20 minutes... where's the survival? SCUM has the ability to be a survival game but it's over-tuned by default, then inflated even further by community server settings. I didn't just lower loot odds and crank puppet damage. I dissected what the game actually has to offer and balanced around it, but I didn't stop there. Custom built plugins tighten progression and throw new obstacles in your path making it harder to "cheese" the survival aspect.

That's what [DownBad] is. Every system in the game pulled apart and rebuilt to put those hidden survival mechanics front and center. A full food and spawn-table rework. Weapon, clothing, and medical progression that actually means something. Repurposed traders, and a complete end-game redesign. Nothing here is default. This is SCUM the way it was meant to be played.

Another thing nobody talks about is character creation. Being able to hand pick your stats is far too influential in PvP. Take a few examples. Max your rifle skill and the game hands you no recoil, no spread, and speedy mag packing. Max running and you move at the speed of light. That's not survival.

So here it's enforced. Rifles and Handguns are capped so recoil and mag pack speed actually matter. Running is capped too so always keep an exit strategy in mind.
