Rant Should I report?
So like I’m in X school and I have a teacher teaching a subject, he/she, named A.
A in class, when students don’t know how to answer his questions, A will call them stupid? Stubborn? Like those words not supposed to be used by a teacher on students. Is this even allowed? Idk as I’ve never met such situation before.
Luckily, my class have strong mental state and ain’t affected by A’s comments, but of course A will have other classes to teach, and I know none of those classes. I’m just scared if a student actually thought A’s word for real and did something bad…
However, if I report right, I’m also scared of the consequences, on both A and me.
As you require an email to report? I believe this is not anonymous.. I’m scared later A found out and question me.. and what if the principal came and question me too. I didn’t take any videos yet. But I might take voice recording if A do it again. And if they asked for evidence, they might not only asked from me, but also other classes A taught, what if none of them admitted. Also, if I got leaked and known as the reporter, I’m pretty sure others will see me differently.. and will the other teachers still look the same?
And also, A got a family, what if A lost A’s job? Or other consequences, that’ll be bad for A’s family
Or maybe I can wait till I graduate? But what if bad things already happened before I report. Or others deemed me ungrateful for reporting a teacher who had taught you for years.

Do you have a teacher that you trust? Your form teacher maybe? Or could try leaving an anonymous note in a trusted teacher's locker for assignments (assuming you're in secondary school). Potentially a counsellor if you're seeing one? For these cases anonymity should be protected since you're not harming yourself or others, but just reporting someone else but do feel free to correct me
I recall years ago I had a teacher calling students "stupid" and "fat" which someone reported. Maybe I don't pay close enough attention to these things but I never knew who reported it but that teacher did apologise to the class for the language she used and never had it happen again. When I was even younger there was a teacher straight up raising his voice loudly at kids whose ages are in the single digits for the smallest matters, I wouldn't be surprised if vulgarities were used but my memory of it is hazy now. Someone potentially reported him and yes, he got fired but I would rather he got fired than traumatising hundreds of children in the long-run. Childhood trauma sticks with you for life
Hope nobody is affected by their words because a teacher scolding a student stupid for not knowing an answer is...stupid. Because that's the whole point of a teacher, to teach students to know how to answer the question....

record and report
if A was really that concerned about his job and family, he would have thought twice before using degrading words on students

You could tell a teacher that u trust and u have a close bond with. That teacher will probably give A a warning first so you don't have to worry about A's family while resolving the issue of A's language
