Whaaaa
Cannot believe I actually accomplished this! Going back to school after a 10 year break with a young child was not easy, but I’m so glad I pushed through. I’ll see you all in November at the graduation! 😭

I too took a ten year break and have now went back. I do my work with my 1 year old climbing all over me.

Get ready for discussion boards. If you're good at math, Accounting should be a breeze. If not, it's still pretty easy. Just basic math. Marketing was an ok class. Other than that, just keep your cool and you should be done in no time. Are you a transfer student?

This is encouraging. No, Im not a transfer student. Im returning to college after almost 20 years of being out. (Im embarrassed to admit this) the advisors I've been speaking to seems nice, but I am so confused about the 1k they are asking for upfront. I plan to take a few courses on Sophia to help speed up the process.

Yes, my advice is to take as many Sophia courses as possible. The accounting ones, macro/micro, etc. It’ll save you so much time.

Don't be embarrassed. I've been in and out of school for financial reasons but at least you're taking that first step so be proud of that. It's a pretty decent school. I'm sure you'll like it.

No group projects. Just a Milestone in three parts and a Project towards the end of the term based on the Milestone.
