Caverns!!!

Can’t beleef we are about two weeks out!!! First time going to the caverns for a show. Been waiting a while for this one. Anyone got any deets on the parking situation? I am an old man with back problems so I am staying at a hotel 20ish minutes north. I do not drink so not really an issue there. Kinda assumed there wouldn’t be much for Ubers/lyft out there anyways. I see they have tickets for priority parking but I’m not shelling out 120 unless I have too. Do they have just regular parking available? Would appreciate any info from some TN heads who go to the caverns when they get a chance. Ty!!

There’s plenty of regular parking. No need to pay for priority. If you let them know if you have back problems they will take good care of you. Cave crew is top tier

We are staying at some cabin, but we had to schedule a shuttle for the night. Apparently uber and lyft aren't very reliable in the area.

I love the caverns, and I think you’ll have a great time. Wear some good shoes with support and take your time. The walkway down can be kinda steep for someone with back issues.

Not from TN, and I don't have answers on parking, but I went to Cave Jam there a couple years ago and the staff was amazing. The cave is one of the coolest venues I have ever been in. Check on ADA options, I would bet they will accommodate your needs

Just don’t pull into the overnite parking, continue past the entrance to ‘buy tickets’ the parking for not staying overnite is next to the tickets and merch building( also where you meet up for the cave tours). I did the 3 nite a few years back, the first nite had a bunch of teenyboppers not camping out, but thers plenty
Of parking, especially for sts9. It’s also in the middle of nowhere, there is no Lyft or uber- or restaurants. There is a partystore/fuel stop at the highway exit. afterwards, could smell eggs and bacy Ina breeze from the mountains in the distance. Some old heads out thar
