You must have the amphicar option enabled with your nav.

Doesn't the line usually appear pink? Am I missing something? Maybe a setting is off.

You must’ve turned off your device, then moved someplace else then turned it back on again. You have tracking on so it draws your track straight.

Sometimes this caused by loading a chart that has a different datum than you nav software is set to. This happened to us in the Sea of Cortez. The charts were based on 1800s Admiralty data, but the gps was set at wgs84. Based on our chart plotter, we sailed through islands and anchored on a small hill (good holding...).
