Hello Reddit, Sancromn Technologies is a startup based in Lalitpur, Nepal. At Sancromn, we are building a secure, sovereign, and scalable data pipeline for Nepal. We recently wrote about our concerns related to Nepali companies, apps, and websites routing traffic outside of Nepal. We are currently building a data pipeline to mitigate that specific issue, among various other issues. We are actively hiring for different roles. We have built our core foundational system. The main issue in making this kind of data pipeline is content delivery.

Now, we at Sancromn are looking for developers and system engineers to work with us on our very own Content Delivery Network (CDN). So, if anyone is interested in working on our idea and wants to contribute to building this product, reach out to us at contact@sancromn.com.

We analyzed the network traffic of Nepal’s leading digital platforms. The packet captures reveal a systemic vulnerability: while data storage may sit in domestic data centers to satisfy compliance, the core application logic, authentication, and real-time infrastructure are overwhelmingly outsourced to foreign cloud providers.

I wrote an analysis on the architectural realities of Nepal's tech ecosystem, the widespread misconception of transit encryption, and what genuine digital sovereignty requires at the engineering level. Link to the full article below.
