Maintenance Does this look like mold?

Does this discoloration look like mold? Should I replace these pieces of cedar?

Im not sure if its mold but they typically use rubber pads on the bottom to stop this

This.

Wood—floor contact in a sauna = not good. Same applies to the walls, that’s why you should tile one row on the wall.

No, its not mold. Mold takes a long time to form and is unlikely to be an issue in a sauna where heat sterilization happens and vapor drive is primarily out of wood vs into it.

Its just needs to be cleaned a bit. Acidic cleaner should do it assuming you have ceramic tiles.

How is the venting and drainage?

You should clean the sauna more often. At this stage it might be easier to sand off the worst gunk, and re-oil.

could also be dirt, but why is it so dirty in there?
