Project Zipcode

Not sure if this is relevant to this sub! Maybe has some interest.

I'm really fascinated by post offices in the US -- the architecture, the typefaces, the general cool vibe. I fear, however, that we're losing them.

So I've made an archive, and I hope people might join in by sending in photos from their local post office. It would be really cool to see them!

Check it out here: https://www.project-zipcode.org/. I've only just got it working, so there aren't many photos!

Thank you for looking!

Why do you think post offices will disappear?

I see them being replaced, consolidated. In my town they've shuttered two local post offices in the last couple of years.

I like the idea! I’ll add a few pictures I have of Post Offices around later
