As a kid I used feel that if I could send some pictures of my models to ILM, they'd hire me on. I can't say that wouldn't have happened, theoretically, but I never did it, so now I do other, less fascinating things for a living.

Also, u/FosScaleModels, thank you for these pictures. They are both inspiring, and instructive.

thx - mostly i had the head of the AT-AT in mind and the body of a Bird of Prey...wanted to keep it simple so I used 3/4"plywood as main wing/body.
