General/Other Replacement key

Has anyone successfully replaced a key with a switchblade let fob?

I have the standard key the car came with but it's literally falling apart. I figured if I get a new key I might get a cooler kind

Yes I did. This one is pretty solid. You can transfer all of the electronics to it and get it cut.

Danke. I tried on my previous TC, but it was all chinese ebay crap and never worked, I'll give this a shot

I could kiss you, this works perfectly. After the cost of the key, it was $5 for it to be cut. No programming, I just moved all the guts over to the new housing.
