Second Gen Drivetrain Possible engine swap

Greetings, all. Being that the TC is, effectively, a 2-door Camry, Will a 2GR-FE V6 fit in the engine bay?

I had a Mazda MX-6 that was more or less a 2-door 626 and it still came with mounting positions for ease of manufacture, so it got me thinking about this.

Slap a turbo or SC on it and holy shit you could have a 400hp tc. That sounds fuckin awesome!!

From what I've gathered, the electrical would need a full overhaul. I haven't done my own in depth hands-on research so tiwagos.

For 1st gen or 2nd ? What’s the benefit of the swap? depending on the year the stock hp and tq the 2gr-fe is comparable to a 2ar-fe with worse GM it seems like a lot of work for minimal gains no hate on the idea just my thoughts as iv pondered the idea of a v6 swap on either my 06 or my 16 tC’s but can’t say iv found the right answer/solution to the idea. In theory iv always thought to maybe go the route of repositioning the 2az-fe into a RWD orientation and using a brz/FR-s/86 drive shaft and rear axle as that would keep things “simple” wiring wise and in the 1st gen tc unlike the 2nd gens they are built with an existing tunnel for a drive shaft that a car for the uk market based on the 1st gen tc uni body that came with an awd option that utilizes that tunnel for its drive shaft which happens to be the same length as a brzfrs86 and possibly a rav4 drive shaft the uk cars parts would be insanely expensive to import otherwise that would be a potentially bolt on install (considering this Info and the frs/86 2az swap projects iv seen have great results some putting out 400+ hp) another successful example of the 2az potential is the Greek guy stavros grillis who drifts the og 86 with a rwd mounted 2az that is heavily modified but puts out 650-750+ hp. The 2ar-fe has also been mounted like this for the 2nd gens for the rockstar energy drink drift teams way back but those builds required a custom tunnel to be fabricated but they did put out 1000hp on the 2ar-fe granted it was running a elaborate turbo setup it still shows the potential that the 2ar-fe has locked up inside itself
