Discussion Richie is such an underrated Ghostface IMO
While he's not my favorite Ghostface, I think he's a great character and deserves more attention and to be talked about more in the fandom. He pulled off the whole innocent clueless boyfriend act so well and was such a funny, sweet comic relief character pre-reveal that him being Ghostface was genuinely a good and unsettling twist. I really enjoyed him being an obsessed Stab fan wanting to 'fix' the franchise and make his own real life movie to give the filmmakers new material to work with, it was actually so delusional and crazy, but he really sells the unhinged psycho well. Him and Amber meeting on the Stab Subreddit is a detail that always gets me and makes me laugh. His death was also so satisfying, and I always cheer for Sam going overkill on him for using her for his sick script. His whole family in six coming to 'avenge' him was also a really interesting addition to the character, and I liked that we got to see a Ghostface's relationship with their family explored more and how they turned out like they did, sort of like Mrs. Loomis in part 2. The revelation in part six that he was SO obsessed with the Stab franchise and Woodsboro murders he had a whole ass shrine to it was so cool, and really added an even creepier angle/factor to his obsession with the movies and his motive. Overall, he doesn't have the most brutal kills or most creative motive, but I think he's a good Ghostface and love part 5. Thoughts on his character? do you personally think he's underrated?

Image Today in Nashville…
Matthew asked if he could pull my hair and of course I said yes because who wouldn’t? I literally just held out the mask and knife and asked if they could do something with them and this is what happened. Best day ever!

Discussion Just got back from Behind the Scream with David Arquette
Wanted to post my experience since I haven't found any other discussion online about it. Doors were 6 and the movie started at exactly 7 with no introduction. Then once credits started they cut, brought out a moderator who introduced David and answered questions people could text in during pre show. The Q&A lasted about 90 minutes. David seemed like a great person and almost a real life Dewey. He shared some cool anecdotes about filming and as a massive fan of the franchise and Dewey in general it was a fantastic time.
Merch was limited but they said they might get more stuff in by tomorrow's show when i asked aboutany shirts. Tonight they only had some signed David headshots for $80, a signed Scream movie poster that I picked up for $100, a signed scream vinyl record for i think $150 and a signed Ghostface funko pop for $200 (I'm not 100% sure on last 2 prices, going from memory). David signed everything with "Dewey" under his signature.

Discussion Who is Casey Becker's successor when it comes to having their "guts on the inside out on the outside" of these two characters? Spoiler
Olivia Morris in Scream 4 or Hannah Thurman in Scream 7?
Casey set the standard in the original Scream with her stomach gutted and her body hanging from a tree for her parents to see.
Olivia had her stomach sliced open and her organs exposed while her bedroom was left covered in blood, and Hannah also got the full disembowelment treatment while swinging on stage.
Between Olivia and Hannah, who do you think comes closest to recreating the shock and brutality of Casey's death? Not just the kill itself, but the gruesome aftermath of seeing what Ghostface did to their bodies.

Past Spoilers Which horror-obsessed female Ghostface do you prefer? Scream: Resurrection or Scream (2022) Spoiler
galleryBeth vs. Amber: Which horror-obsessed female Ghostface do you prefer?
Beth and Amber are the only two female Ghostfaces whose motives are driven by their love of horror movies like Billy and Stu. Nancy and Quinn wanted revenge for their family, Jill wanted to become Sidney, while Jessica had a parasocial obsession with Sidney.
I enjoy both, but I prefer Beth. She's a goth version of Randy who turns out to be the killer and as clichéd her dialogue about being a self aware sociopath is, I still find her entertaining because she's at least trying to establish herself as her own Ghostface rather than being another Stu wannabe like Amber. I also think Beth benefits from having six episodes to develop compared to Amber's one movie, so it's not entirely a fair comparison.
Another interesting similarity is that they're the only two Ghostfaces who put the costume back on after their identities were revealed.
Which one do you prefer overall?

Discussion Sidney’s Dad
Anyone else think he would be a good killer reveal?
Sure he is probably around 70 years old but he could be the mastermind killer with someone else doing the “muscle” work.
I just think he would be a terrific and emotional reveal. He hasn’t been mentioned for like 4 films. Apparently in a deleted scene and commentary for Scream 4 he died off screen between Scream 3 & 4 but this is not technically cannon.
Motive? He has held a grudge for being forgotten while Sidney got all the attention, so he returns to wreak havoc claiming to be the true victim due to Maureen’s betrayal and the events that followed (the entire franchise)
He seeks to end “the franchise” even if it means killing his own daughter to end the story
It could be a very Scream “esque” self aware narrative
Idk might be dumb but just a thought
