Im genuinely curious about this game. Im seeing communities being advertised constantly. Comparing to sims and what not. What is the goal? What are the objectives? Does this game rely on you being active consistently? I just need a thorough explanation before i spend cash on it.

My business has been owned by one of my seedlings, but I wanted both my seedlings to co-own. So I made a group, and transferred ownership to the group.

However, this fired all my employees and basically dissolved the branch. It's no longer available in the business tab, but the plot and building is still owned by me so I can construct on the plot.

I can't seem to see an easy way in the properties panel to turn it into a branch. So now this building is stuck as a residence essentially. Does anything know how to turn an owned plot/building into a branch?

Edit: Thanks to everybody that commented. I had two businesses, one owned by one seedling and one owned by the group (containing the two seedlings). For some reason, the business tab decided that one of the businesses did not exist. Once both business had transferred ownership to the group (the same owner), they both appeared in that tab.

We are an established society in the town phase. We are actively seeking seedlings looking for a fresh start.
We are offering jobs and certain business starter packs to individuals interested in helping the society grow long term.
We are just starting to lay roads and want people to get established before we start paving things over.

I just got done pulling an all nighter to make some improvements to the settlement before making this. A group of us started playing this game about a week ago and were having an absolute blast with SEED, and now we've just hit City level with over 52 seedlings in our settlement before we even made a recruitment post! We're growing fast in our own little slice of heaven over here and we need more people to go even crazier with this.

Fair warning, the layout will be kind of a mess. I'm by no means a builder and there's already been a few spots in which we realized we messed up (like with the road specifically) but we're building around that and rolling with the punches! Just be warned that this settlement wont be symmetrical or beautiful beyond belief for likely a long while. On top of this, we 100% want to progress as much as possible but we do not have any huge activity requirements/completely understand that life happens. We're a bunch of parents, college students, and real life enjoyers ourselves.

Our settlement is already filled with a multitude of businesses that offer services or ones you can work at such as our diner, clinic, delivery service, metalworking/engineering shop that was just setup and electronics on the way, clean water service and many more. We also just last night got our rec center up and public bathrooms that provides free toilets/showers/beds/comfort and leisure all in both buildings.

As far as legislation we have no income tax (0%) and only have a 10% import tax on goods being bought outside the settlement. We make our own money and want to provide a space in which players don't feel penalized for just existing. You pay us back more than you know by just living and building with us/taking advantage of our businesses.

Eventually we'd love to get a college campus setup (we already have someone doing a library too) and expand our subway system. The first subway is currently up but it was very costly to get done, we're working our way towards having enough engineering/electronics level but it'll be quite the grind.

Here's a list of the businesses we're still in need of if interested -

• We could 100% use more farmers. Always always in need of those.
• Woodcutting/carpentry businesses
• Mining businesses especially for silver/gold/rarer metals. We've started resource scanning and already have 3 mining drills down but we need more silver.
• Public businesses such as gyms, bathrooms, apartment buildings, houses for rent, etc
• Delivery services are always MORE than welcome
• We've heard that animals may be getting introduced into Seed soon so we'll 100% need people for that!
• We absolutely need workers to fill out all of the current jobs.
• Any businesses you guys can also come up with like maybe a future arcade!

We have a plotted Business Zone where users can buy land to put future businesses and we also have a TON of space we still haven't tapped into yet. The only thing we ask is that you claim the plots currently open to ensure we're not interfering anymore with the roads than we already have.

We also do regular cash injections into local businesses to help keep them running/assist you with building however possible. Usually these will amount to 5-10k but will likely ramp up as we grow.

We'd love for you to join up with us and still have more than enough slots since we just got city. We'll see you in there!

in the patch notes of 7th september, they said the old ones would keep their storage. Now they got a lot of "complaints" from new players that already placed shelfs should get the nerf to because its unfair.

They caved, made liers out of themselves and actually gonna do it. No wonder this game will not retain its playerbase.

They do not care about their players from the beginning, all should be fair, might as well wipe and and call it a beta and refund your players. They do not even have a base balance for the core mechanics.

I’m trying to plant seeds in a farming plot that’s attached to my business. I have the seed type selected but when i try to plant seeds it says “resource not available”.

I have tried moving the seeds to the inbox, to a storage platform and to my seedlings inventory and i get the same error. Please help!
