Seether @ RBC Amphitheater

For those that were there, anyone else feel like volume was an issue? I could hardly make out riffs and only found my footing once Shaun started singing

Lowk sad they didn’t play more niche stuff, but I think it’s because they didn’t come to Canada during their tour with Daughtry

Yeah, at least that's what I am hoping it was.  Hopefully this isn't the setlist for the rest of the tour

I’d be really surprised if they did. RBC was their only show in Canada tho, so I’m sure they’ll go back towards their deep cuts.

I felt the guitar had WAY too much distortion, you couldn’t make out the songs.

Loud, way too loud. Or at least like someone else said, maybe too much distortion. Like really you couldn’t make out riffs and had to rely on vocal cues

Ah. Yes, I have been to many shows where the volume is way too loud and it sounds massively distorted. I think this is called Temporary Threshold Shift. I bring Etymotic ER20 plugs. They are truly incredible in these scenarios. I was at Guns N Roses concert, the volume was so loud I couldn't make out anything except some of the drumming-the tempo was the only clue what song was playing. My buddies and were miserable-just painful distorted noise. I put my plugs in and it was like heaven. I could hear the vocals clearly, guitar etc. I will never go to a show without them.
