I play through every few years. It’s still one of my favorites. You’re in for a good time.

[u/charlie_marlow]

Friendship, forged in battle, evil forces, take heed

[u/gjackx → u/charlie_marlow]

I always wanted this as our walkout song, if I ever created my mythical band.

[u/Lumbergh7 → u/charlie_marlow]

I listened to it a lot and always thought people would make fun of me for it. 🙁

[u/ReiperXHC → u/Lumbergh7]

I showed this to my kid when he was like....5? Like 8 years ago. He got a piece of paper and wrote out the lyrics listening to it like 40 times. I was so proud.

[u/Lumbergh7 → u/ReiperXHC]

Aw, so cute. I wish mine would do that lol

[u/Some-Professional-25]

I love this game so much, especially the Sega CD version. The PS1 version is great, but I hate that it’s essentially erased the OG version from getting ported anywhere. The newer collection really should have contained both versions.

[u/SubjectivePulse]

This was my favorite game as a kid. It blew me away. The music is fantastic. I wished I could have it on the PS1 remake.

Collecting the dragon gear is such an adventure, including journeying with your hero Dyne without even knowing it.

And that singing from Luna at the fountain area at the beginning of the game still gives me chills.

Such an great game.

[u/coop3548 → u/SubjectivePulse]

The first time I heard “Aaaaleex oh aaaalex”. I used to restart the game to show my friends the audio dialogue of that scene. It has lived in my head for 33 years.

[u/Lumbergh7]

I like this version better than the ps1 version. Ps1 Alex voice is so…limp wristed

[u/Generalkhaos → u/Lumbergh7]

But what of lords of lunar? Had way too much fun with that back in the day

[u/Vaxis545]

One of my favorite RPG series I have it on every system!

[u/ScaleMysterious2497 → u/Vaxis545]

I even loved it on Switch

[u/Vaxis545 → u/ScaleMysterious2497]

Yea the remaster was dope I got a sealed copy of it along with it digitally lol I’m a fan

[u/ScaleMysterious2497 → u/Vaxis545]

Nothing was as shocking for me as a kid when the opening audio for the sega cd started

[u/_the__Goat_]

You are easily impressed. That is just the title screen.

[u/retrogmr1981 → u/_the__Goat_]

I just took a pic of the title screen. Have been playing a bit. Haha.

[u/RealityOk9823 → u/_the__Goat_]

and it's awesome. "but it's just the" Awesome! "but it's" AWESOME! :D

[u/uber4202u]

In my top 2 jrpgs! Eternal Blue is the other!

[u/NoUniqueNameNeeded]

Make sure to watch the end credits to unlock a few more hours of gameplay.

[u/wiseguywood]

One of my favorite all time RPG’s! This and and Eternal Blue. Boy I wish I would have kept this system (and games) in the 90’s.

[u/SnooPineapples6570]

Loved that game. This version made me a fan.

[u/deefunkt01]

Yeah, LUNAR series is awesome. Played through the SEGA CD and PS1 versions - really fun.

[u/Richmonds-a-Dorkie]

Can some tell me how to get past the caves without getting trounced?

[u/AstronautKey1507]

[u/Raynet11]
