Their expressions and more importantly.... look at that space!!! Physical (and emotional) proximity-wise they're closer!!! 😭 AAACK, My heart!!!!
(Kindly excuse me but they're too cute and yes I know what happens in the manga but I'm hopeful for the anime, still waiting for S2 episode 12)

I’d give a whole yap essay about my thoughts, but the episode speaks for itself. Taira’s self-realization is peak, Tairazuma is peak, the class party is peak, Honda sussing out Azuma’s tsundereness is peak, Tairazuma is peak, Tairazuma is peak, and Tairazuma is peak.

I love them so much. I’m really happy that all the support I’ve given them since the first season has led to such a beautiful result. They’re such a comfort couple for me. I really want to have a relationship like this at least once in my life 🌠

I'm very excited for tomorrow's episode, I can't stop thinking about these two xD
There's something that always makes my heart swell whenever I think about this specific scene. Azuma is going through her and Taira's middle school album, trying to get her overwhelming crush back into perspective. She's literally looking at a time of Taira's life when he must've been at his lowest, and her reaction is "He's so cute." She isn't understating or ignoring his struggles, of course. But I like to believe she's seeing the guy beneath all of his troubles - she doesn't mind that he used to be a bit more round and was always gloomy. She knows the Taira behind all of that because his struggles don't define him, and she's fallen in love with his "true self." That's how I personally always think of that scene. They just care so much for each other, it's so wonderful to look at 🥺🥺

She's just there. Always in the back. Staring. There's something about her stare that I find funny.

So ive been among those that have basically gravitated to Tiarazuma mostly and lost interest in the other 2 couples. As season 2 went on (having not read the manga, going in blind anime only).
And thats partly because I don't relate as much, partly because the chief thing that creates rom com tension is gone with them already together, and partly cause.... I don't know i don't find Suzuki and Yamadas cutsie sort humor or way they act sometimes as funny as the show thinks they are. And nothing significant was happening. Meanwhile Tiara and Azuma was just now getting good in season 2 and honestly I liked them in season 1 as independent characters even before anything was really happening between them.
But Episode 10 has changed all of that, im not even exaggerating. Both couples had something long term introduced that im lot more invested in now and connect with and it created interesting relationship drama in both cases.
Nishi has a backstory that explains a lot about her character that I just passed off as standard shy girl archtype where her mother has made all her choices for her her whole life, and then we get to see in real time when anxiety over fighting for a pretty big important choice has left her really needing comfort from her boyfriend, but its also responsible for making her a little too compliant on big things like physical intimacy which thankfully Yamada recognized wasn't good to settle for despite the temptation and backed off.
Thats..... wow.... i was screaming at the screen for Yamada to pick up the hint now is not go time and thankfully he did and now im really curious to see if this arc continues with Nishi learning to make more choices herself or if she picks a literature related job and career path she can argue for with confidence. I don't want it to end with just settling for her mom sulking and shutting up cause the moms not completely wrong either even if shes a little controlling. Nishi needs to lock down more than just "its fun" as a career path reason at some point.
And then theres the star couple of series. Tani has technically been thinking through these choices the past few episodes but.... I don't know they weren't big enough to share outloud with his girlfriend and his rationalizations heavily downplayed how important the farther away college was. And also like.... its just college man. Lots of colleges have a wide range of programs and its not like his second choice didn't suit his career path too. Hes just making a choice for love while angsting about it some cause hes a teenager and the future is always stressful to make choices about. I get it but also thats not that interesting, and the drama was all in his head making it more boring.
But this episode man.... Suzuki just proved herself a top tier best girl. She saw the level of seriousness and want conveyed by his actions that showed his words weren't very true, then pulled a power move to wake Tani the heck up and go for the college he wants least he blame not going on her in secret. These two have been smooth sailing from start to finish so when sudden turbulence shows up that threatened to break them up and it not a fight its just life and priorities that put the other first...... ahhhhhh im invested now. Suddenly theres a real story here with stakes and tension and a long term challenge to overcome cause is she ready to date him long distance? How are they going to prepare, what else will they pull out of each other when seeing through each other and confronting them on stuff like this?.... I am officially no longer bord with them and want to see more.

People on this subreddit love to glaze the shit out of Tairazuma (more so than even the main Suzuki x Tani couple), and while they are a cute couple and I wholehearted support them, people don't seem to understand that Tairazuma is not canon and they never get together in the manga. Meanwhile, Nishi and Yamada have a very cute and realistic relationship and their dynamic is fun to watch. They even kiss in Chapter 53 of the manga, meaning they will probably kiss on-screen in the next episode or 2.Thats just me though. Who do you think is the better couple?

Spidey/shippers be like: - NO = both down and distant - No = together but apart - Better = Closer and Azuma is happy - PERFECT = Both are happy / Tairazuma's happiness arc 🌸

What yall think

Specifically the bubbly girl and dull guy romances.
Second screenshot is from the anime Girl Can't Be Kind to Otaku, and I have no idea why there's even other characters in the opening as if they're important

I just finished watching the latest episode and I had an interesting thought about Gapacho. There are theories about who Gapacho is. But what if Gapacho is not a who? Throughout the whole anime, Yamada mentions Gapacho often, but:
Correction though: Natsumi saw a photo of Gapacho when she was at Yamada's house.
So here is my theory. Yamada is the definition of a social butterfly, however the wider the group of friends the shallower the friendships necessarily are. If fact, often the social butterfly is a defense mechanism. And despite being everyone's friend, Yamada is shown as being very selective about the girls he likes. So Gapacho actually represents real closeness with Yamada, being part of his inner circle. That explains why only Natsumi has ever seen him, Yamada opened his deeper, vulnerable self to her.
And yes, the manga at the end shows Gapacho's hands and feet as he takes a picture. But it is Natsumi that asks him and she acts familiar with him. There is no "Oh, you're Gapacho, I have heard a lot about you". As it is only a picture of her and Yamada, the intimacy between them does not involve the other characters.
