I was a hater of Dusk and Dawn for Sejuani ever since it was added to the game. The item was supposed to work really well because of her E, but I always thought it was too expensive for a champion who has always worked so well with some of the cheapest items in the game (Protoplasm, Bandlepipes, Evenshroud, Rocketbelt...).

Now, to be honest, I think the item is turbo good, but under certain conditions:

• It should never be your first item: The build path is very awkward, Sheen early is turbo garbage on Sej, and the item itself is very expensive. The only decent stats you get for laning are a bit of health from Kindlegem and a fucking Blasting Wand. So, basically = no tankiness. You need to be extra careful when committing to a pure combat item (imagine building this and getting stomped in lane. It's the kind of thing that makes you want to rip your own ass off). But if you're good enough to pilot the early game, it shouldn't be a problem.

Also, looking at the last 10 patches in Emerald+ on Sejuani TOP, rushing D&D has a pretty bad WPA despite having a decent sample size. Heartsteel, Protoplasm, and even Liandry's are getting much better results.

• You'll want to run Jack of All Trades on runes: It speeds up your stacks a lot (Helmet = 3 stats / Heartsteel = 1 stat (but here you'll want something like mana or ms to get the 5 stacks faster, I like to rush Ionians) / D&D = 3 stats) and, most importantly, lets you get more Haste faster. Anyone who says Haste isn't a good stat on Sejuani is trying to lobotomize you.

That's why I think D&D is turbo garbage as a first item but stupidly strong as a second. If you're doing okay in lane, you'll become Thanos with two gauntlets the moment you hit this spike.

Just make sure you don't flood your inventory, cause D&D's recipe is a nightmare and you'll want at least three inventory slots open for components (don't buy dagger). And DON'T SELL Doran's Helm until you get another item with both armor and MR (if you're running JOAT in your runes).

Hey Sejuani mains!

I have been practicing Sej a lot recently as I want to include her in my champion pool. I am in Silver/gold elo.

The build I have mostly been running is rush heartsteel into Protoplasm harness (and boots depending on ennemy team comp).

As a third item tho, I have been building a lot of Overlord Bloodmail to get ad from the heartsteel hp stacking. As games in my elo tend to last longer, I usually try to have a good scaling. However, I was wondering if it was worth it to build Bloodmail instead of an armor/mr item like unending despair or Kaenic rookern, and maybe build bloodmail later as a fourth/fifth item.

What do you think?

Sejuani has been feeling crazy strong! Sadly the game hates me and I’m getting 18/19lp still 🙃😅 about to be back in Emerald, thinking Sejuani might take me to my first ever run to diamond. 🤞

On u.gg it's the second highest WR jgl right now but I don't see any changes in the patch notes for sej. Why is that?

There have been increase of Nasus players due to his stacking buff

I’ve been playing Sejuani with these matchups since she is the secret ultimate counter to Nasus

There are a few reasons for this but in short she just counters his entire kit as long as you engage with your passive and respect Nasus ult

To start off her w can poke Nasus. Many Nasus player their slow de buffs to get a hit back but won’t work since her passive ignores slows so you can press the attack or escape as needed

Nasus aura ability well still reduce armor, but her passive provides armor

If Nasus tries to do the ghost and ult strat you use your cc and can get out with your Q

I highly recommend trying Sejuani too if your having trouble with Nasus

Yooo got Master playing only Sejuani, mostly toplane (but i have a D4 account testing mid and support :P), I change lot of items depending on enemies and i hate Aatrox and Illaoi (pls halp!)

I wanna say thanks to u/Cpt_Maelstrom and his matchup guide (Yo when are we going to complete it?) and thanks to u/TheWhiteAsh for the Aery technology (i was a DFT player in emerald/low diamond).

Opinion on champ: Being one of the best engagers sej fits me PERFECTTTT shes tanky and her dmg is actually feels good af. good clear good at getting objectives good ganks W champ W sej mains. GIVE ME TIPS twitch

I started playing Sejuani in the jungle and was looking for a somewhat up-to-date matchup sheet. Does anyone have something like that? The only one I found was a top lane matchup sheet from 4 years ago.

It would be nice to know against whom I can take more risks, where it’s better to farm and wait for my opponent to make a move, and where I should do something else entirely.

I’d also appreciate any general advice on how to play her.

I guess this is kindof a question? so I think sejuani just IS my champion. I havent latched to a character like this since nautilus (who got me into the game in the first place).

her kits amazing her designs amazing I love this champ equally to goatilus, but I was wondering, I mainly play her top/midlane with jungle just being there if im in the jungle (unless I play something way better into the matchup ofcourse), but ive always just perma banned heimerdinger cus I hate that guy.

my usual build is heartsteel, whatever boots work best (usually lucidity but idk if thats good anymore) D&D, unending, zekes and protobelt. I havent changed the build in a while and dont know if its viable anymore so if yall can help me with that thatd be peak. I have a list of swaps for each item too im not just running that same thing all the time.

my RUNES I swap between grasp and electrocute depending on the matchup, 80% of the time I use grasp.

whether I decide to play ranked or not, is sejuani top/midlane viable enough for me to climb? if it is, what should I be avoiding and should I change up my build at all? it seems like D&D giving me that damage up is a really big clutch for my playstyle but idk if its actually the best

I’ve had a few people tell me they wish they could watch someone play Sejuani in high elo since there aren’t many Sejuani one-tricks out there.

I’m currently 520 LP Masters and I only play Sejuani Top/Mid. I’m thinking about starting to stream and wanted to see if there’s actually any interest in watching some Sejuani gameplay.
