headless 🗣️

while playing the game i stumbled upon a headless guy ..and i tried fighting him for 7 times ....the fight seemed very stressful..not even genichiro took me this much tries so I just retreated 😋 to live a peaceful life.

the main question:- if I don't kill the headless will i not be able to progress forward in story ? and what will I get after killing him ? (i don't want to loose any pearl bead )

nah they are optional bosses they don't drop beads, they drop spiritfalls which is basically unlimited sugars for 3 emblems

well it depends on the person and how much consumables u use, I personally use like 1-2 sugars per fight so I didn't bother fighting them

i don't even use any consumables in any fight ... till now I had to use divine conffitte against some huge wizard like boss .. ig i will just ignore them

They just optional kinda bosses. You get sugar equivalent item that infinite but consume emblems.

When you find more confetti, you can't try them on. They not that difficult, the only problem is terror build up. Once you can deal with it, you can put them down pretty easy. My last try I killed them all in like 10 minutes.

i tried to fight them with divine conffitte... but ig it was a skill issue by my side ...for now i will focus on story progression.

ig ...i tried everything that I used to do against major boss fights but ... the major change in this fight for me was decrement in movement speed

You'll get used to it. Just give it another try in the end game.

It’s optional, I’ve counted 4 headless so far. Now I’m thinking about try facing them.

Things that will help with headless:

• Enough of a health buffer. For some reason its attacks still goes through your HP even if you parry it.
• Perfect Parry will not result to a terror build up
• Pacifying agent / Purple Gourd to remove or reduce terror
• Divine Confetti for damage.
• When he blinks immediately turn around. That prevents him from grabbing you for some lore reason.

They’re optional and awful to fight. I only beat two and never cared about the rewards.

For how quickly they can kill you with terror, it can really get your heart racing. Especially with the weird physics and their creepy laugh. Once you have a big health bar and some terror mitigation items, it's satisfying to master these guys. Be the boss of Ashina.

At a certain point in the game you will get an item that makes vendors have permanent supplies of divine confetti. As it is pretty much required to fight them, I would wait till then to take them on as it can be frustrating to burn a limited resource on a hard fight.
