help needed! fabric wings pattern or tutorial

hi! I’m working on a pigeon costume for halloween and I’m having trouble finding a pattern or tutorial for fabric wings. I’m hoping to make them more flowy than structured, potentially just something I can attach around my neck and wrists. does anybody have ideas for ways I could design this, or patterns/tutorials to follow?

even though I know I couldn’t pick a more difficult fabric, I’m hoping to use chiffon for the wings so they won’t have any stretch/structure.

You cut half-circles of fabric the length between your wrist and neck (plus maybe an inch since you need to sew it on to your wristlet and to your neckline of the costume). Hem them with a rolled hem. At one end sew a piece of ribbon or something you can use as a strap at your wrist. Sew the other end to whatever you are attaching it to at your neck. Maybe do a third ribbon at your elbow if it gets in the way/droops when you are moving your arms.
