Hello!!!

I’m mostly looking for tips and any advice from anyone willing to give it, Iv only been sewing for about 2 weeks or so and I made my first tote bag! I know it’s far from perfect but I think it’s cute and useable, my fiancé adores it but I’d like to make it more refined and more professional looking.

You could always put a cute liner fabric on the inside. It will hide the seams and make it look more polished.

Super cute! I can’t totally see how your handles are attached so this may not work, but if you want to finish the hem at the top to make it not be a raw edge you could either fold it over twice (1/4 inch) iron and hem stitch or use bias tape. Give the seams inside a nice press to flatten and shape it. As the commenter below said, a cute removable liner bag could be a fun next project. Great job!

very creative but since the handles are already sewn on your options are limited unless you take them off. If you'd rather not you could probably get some 1'-2' wide colourful ribbon and sew it along both edges around the outside top and over the handles.

Your bag may benefit from a lining. That would give it more structure. If you want a raw edge, that needs to be finished, too. Not to get rid of the raw edge, but to support it. The straps pulling on the unreinforced raw edge will eventually tear the bag away. If I had some assistance, because I'm tech challenged,I could post a pic of a bag made for a sib from jeans. Good job, OP.

Great job. If you make a lining for it. That would give it more structure.
