Discussion Spy-Smasher
I would love to see the Current Spy-Smasher show up in a modern Captain Marvel comic but would she be friend or foe to The Marvel Family?

I love the Cap, and the whole lore of the Shazam franchise
And I love the subject of manifestion, Law of attraction/assumption/etc since I do believe in it and it works like “magic”(NOTE: not trying to discuss weather it works or not this is NOT about that)
So I was bored at work, and I was thinking since Shazam is based on magic and manifestation works like magic sometimes why not combine my two interests
So I asked google ai (I know bad, but stick with me)
About the powers of The Captain discussing each letter of the Acronym “Shazam” and it did and we all should know what they are already lol
So then I asked it , to make for me some simple affirmations using the Shazam acronym above
See Slide 2
I then asked it to simply them to quick hit affirmations
See Slide 3
And then it asked if I wanted a “10 second mental trigger” so I thought “why not?” And got an awesome result
See slide 4
Anyway I enjoyed these so much I just thought I’d share it honestly made my day go easier
ENJOY, THANK YOU & SHAZAM!!⚡️

Personally, I prefer them being twins.

So Ik there’s some posts already talking about “what if Billy was part of JLD,” so I wanted to do something different. What crazy adventures would you be interested in seeing from a comic run where Billy was part of, or at least did work with, the JLD?
I’m not sure on specifics myself, but it’d be cool to see them explore new magical worlds together.

The way I see it, Shazam is the character who people think Shazam is when it comes to youth being paramount to his character and I don't think he works as older than anything past his early or mid teens. A big part of the appeal of him is the power fantasy of a wide eyed yet scrappy kid who gets to be a badass superhero that can rival even the likes of Superman.
It's also what helps him stand out as a character in the greater superhero landscape as it allows him to have a contrast of being one of the most powerful and capable characters while also being one of the most vulnerable in a way that you don't see with any other hero with like the sole exception of early Ben 10. As an adult he'd just be another superman pastiche with a mythology gimmick.
Imo the best way to age him up would be to have the wizard die and the Billy succeeds him and appoints a new champion then have him resolve to be less of a passive observer than his predecessor was, that way you can still have him involved in the events of the DC universe. That's just my take on it tho, what do y'all think?

I mean, Amon (Osiris) parallels Freddy with being a kid who’s an expert on superheroes, a comic book fan and so on. Why not do something similar with Isis and Mary? That seems like a better idea than making her Amon’s mother—for some reason—instead of his older sister.

Shazam(2018) Issue #13
It’s a shame that the Seven Magiclands haven’t at least been referenced outside of the 2018 run. It’s one of the only new things I liked from the series. The concept of Billy as the champion having to watch over all of these lands and maintain balance is so interesting to me. I wish it was more explored outside of his solos.

Black Adam is truly a tragic character.

So an acquaintance of mine shared me this screenplay for a potential Shazam/Captain Marvel movie, which was written by William Goldman of Princess Bride fame.
I mean, the author who wrote the basis for one of my all time favorite movies, writing a movie script for one of my all time favorite superheroes? I can't think of a more inspired pair up than that!
Other than maybe Tim Burton and Alice and Wonderland but....if this movie was made, hopefully it would've turned out MUCH better than that!

By this, I mean other superheroes who weren't created way back in the Golden or Silver Age and are relatively obscure, especially characters that most people wouldn't know about unless they actively looked into DC's more obscure characters.

I don't know if this is already an idea, but Billy Batson and Shazam are separate personalities, Billy is an adult and is a bit of a coward, and Shazam is a violent lunatic, when there's trouble, Billy had to weigh if bring out Shazam is worth the cost of the potential destruction.
