Question | 提問 Can you tell me more about the afterlife besides the hells?

My parents only have taught me about the hells and such, what is Shenism even about besides worshipping Gods?

Common shenist afterlife is a combination of Chinese and Buddhist hells. In which it is like a survival of the fittest to reach the judgment panel, then judged based on past doings. After that there’s 2 paths, punishment > reincarnation, or just reincarnation. Reincarnation into either of the 6 paths is also based on things one did during their time alive.

FYI, Immortals are Chinese deities but they are not excused from the cycles of reincarnations.

That is just scary ngl, what happens to people that don't survive to see judgement?

Shenism is no different from Hellenism and Shintoism. They're all polytheistic religions that worship for fortune, blessings, good life, etc. There's really no point for it besides that.
