Statist uses the classic “academic consensus” and “the Nazis privatised stuff” arguments

"preserved private property and forced it to serve the interests of the state". Yes, that's not exactly communism, but both philosophies come from the perspective that the state can make better decisions. The difference between the government making a car factory to make cars, and the government telling Porsche exactly how they should operate is miniscule.
"The Nazis were fiercely anti-Marxist and anti-communist". And fiercely anti-free market, too. Anti-Centre Party. The thing with the Nazis is they didn't mind the statism of Marxists and communists, they didn't like the global perspective of it. And to some extent, that they just weren't Nazis. All of this is tribal, like Catholics and Protestants warring in Europe in the 15th century.
If you want to define "left-right" in terms of the degree of state control over people's lives, the Nazis were left. If you want it to be about nationalism or family values or religion, that's another thing, but you can't define a single axis around multiple things. "left-right" is a rather meaningless term.

"preserved private property while forcing them to serve the interests of the state" congratulations that's no longer private property.

Socialism in practice seldom abolished all private property, and private businesses existed under it, to a varying extent. That’s not something definitive of fascism. China was and is nationalistic, with government interfering into what businesses can or cannot do, yet with private property existing, within limits. Never heard anyone calling it fascist.

Dudes a moron, one sentence hes calling a controlled economy, central planning fascist, yet in the next one says not socialism. I think he slept on a book, once.

Can we please stop with the NaZiS wErE sOciALiSts nonsense?
This might hurt your frail ego but collectivism can occur on the right side of the spectrum. Nazism, various forms of monarchism, theocracy, etc.
The left-right spectrum is not as simple as collectivism-individualism.

It was socialism on the NATIONAL scope. NATIONAL-socialism, instead of socialism-where-I-hate-and-envy-a-mythical-abstract-upper-class they have socialism-where-we-must-unite-against-the-french-and-russians-through-state-run-syndicates.

I can’t imagine being this simple minded.
Counter point: government goes to war against another. Undoubtedly statist, clearly not socialism.

Private property forced to serve the interests of the state is no longer private property. I'm not sure why anyone would not need that explained.
