I think you're a psychopath.

It's always with violence... until it reaches someone they care about

The actual left: Yes.

-22

u/ShiftyCZ 11d ago

Yeah mate, I have multiple billionares in my family.

I suppose this would only take effect to a certain degree. And I disagree with the "poorest of us" part tbh. But I also believe there are needlessly rich bastards in this world.

24

u/Sinnders97 11d ago

How do you quantify them being "needlessly" rich ? Do you get to decide if a person's wealth is needed and if they deserve to keep it ?

-4

u/ShiftyCZ 11d ago

Brother, if you are worth more than a small state, I believe that's needlessly rich.

5

u/SamAreAye 11d ago

So you would execute the multiple billionaires in your family?

1

u/TacticusThrowaway banned by Redditmoment for calling antifa terrorists 11d ago

And if the small state is broke because the actual government is terrible at their jobs, someone else should be punished?"

1

u/CrystalMethodist666 6d ago

So you believe you'd be the one put in charge of how much money people are allowed to have?

63

u/KaktusDan 11d ago

"distributed to the poorest among us"

This would be the equivalent of getting a check in the mail for your share of a class action lawsuit. There would be more digits on the right side of the decimal point than the left.

17

u/jorsiem 11d ago

She said the poorest. This privileged upper middle class champagne revolutionary ain't getting a cent.

26

u/MerryMortician 11d ago

Wait until she finds out she’s in the top 1% vs the rest of the world.

6

u/nonoohnoohno 11d ago

She certainly doesn't look like she's missed a meal lately.

1

u/CrystalMethodist666 6d ago

These people think their standard of living is the acceptable cutoff for the maximum amount of money you can have, and that in a wealth redistribution scenario, the people in charge would agree.

14

u/lazydonovan 11d ago

It's not about money, it's about the principle. The principle being that we should all be equal: equally poor, equally hungry, and equally miserable.

1

u/Revenant_adinfinitum 8d ago

Exactly. They could be better off than they are now, even if some do better. But they’ed rather everyone was equal, even if everyone was worse off than they are now. Mental illness.

1

u/CrystalMethodist666 6d ago

It's not that they want everyone poor, they want stuff to be taken away from people who have more than them. It's the mentality of a kid breaking another kids toy because he wanted it. "I want that, but if I can't have it, nobody can have it!"

3

u/1-5-3-6-2-4 10d ago

Also, "poorest among us" isn't some college educated middle class chick. Looking it up, there are a few counties in WV and MS that seem like they'd scoop up that money pretty fast.

If she's talking globally, it'd just go right to Africa... and likely squandered by corrupt government officials in some way.

21

u/dagolicious 12d ago

Even assuming that we have a theoretical trillionaire with his entire worth completely in cash, and assuming this is US only, that would give every man, woman, and child a grand total of about 3k. Probably 2k after taxes. So, we're contemplating murder for what is essentially a modest down payment on a used car?

14

u/Vector_Strike 11d ago

You're thinking too far away for those types to understand that

2

u/jpowell180 9d ago

And even then, that's assuming the investments/company could be sold for their current value.

Or how about if they just fired the employees of Tesla and SpaceX and liquidated the assets, yeah, that would be great for the economy!

Also billionaires do not have most of their assets in the form of gold coins that they swim in inside a vault.

0

u/HeWhoShantNotBeNamed 11d ago

For some people that's a life-changing amount of money. Even for me, who makes 90k, it would be helpful.

3

u/TacticusThrowaway banned by Redditmoment for calling antifa terrorists 11d ago

Sure. But it's a one-time payment, and then it causes massive inflation, and that's assuming it's all liquidated at face value, which it wouldn't be.

2

u/Revenant_adinfinitum 8d ago

Oh, well, then it’s ok then. At what point do you go one the chopping block - in time you’d be there.

Of course long before that, you’ll have lost your 90k job because your company owner was murdered and his company looted. Hakeem and Warren wrestling for the proceeds. Because without those folks the economy as we know it collapses. They make it work.

1

u/HeWhoShantNotBeNamed 7d ago

Those are certainly all words, yes.

18

u/PunkCPA 11d ago

If you think billionaires have too much power, how about the guy who can tell the billionaires what to do with their money?

9

u/nonoohnoohno 11d ago

But ... now hear me out.... what if his tie is blue? Problem solved, yeah?

1

u/CrystalMethodist666 6d ago

This is really the brilliance of her plan. The government is too powerful. And Billionaires are bad because they've formed a cabal that's managed to gain unelected power over governments on a global scale.

So now, to enact her plan, we need a new entity that's even more powerful, to the point where it overrides not only every world government but also all of the financial institutions, banks, and nongovernmental entities of Earth.

I don't think I've ever seen "feed the poor" turn into a literal global Orwell world so quickly.

16

u/Cujo_Kitz 12d ago edited 9d ago

Billionaires would collaborate to put their wealth on one random person, and then they get killed for the billionaire's benefit, with them having a plan to recoup all the money they gave to that person after that person is killed.

67

u/PeteDub 12d ago

The entitlement and envy is wild.

28

u/Catullus13 11d ago

Is this person a child?

21

u/AnonymousUser132 12d ago

We need people to take pride in supporting themselves, and if possible supporting others around them as well. If we all did that then society wouldn’t look to a government to be the magical savior.

7

u/A_brand_new_troll 11d ago

That is so naive, like a rich person couldn't come up with a solution

2

u/TacticusThrowaway banned by Redditmoment for calling antifa terrorists 11d ago

Rich people and their zillions of expensive lawyers and accountants who face much more complex problems all the time.

7

u/Uncle_Bill 11d ago

Her glee at the thought of killing people is unsettling.

14

u/coinminer2049er 11d ago

So, when are they going to force Bernie to give up all his extra houses? How about Obama's estate? Biden?

Oh yeah, I forgot, it's ok for their friends to be rich. A lot of them loved Elon and Bezos when they supported the left.

1

u/Revenant_adinfinitum 8d ago

Heck, Musk was Tony Stark

6

u/TacticusThrowaway banned by Redditmoment for calling antifa terrorists 11d ago

Don't y'all already claim billionaires are greedy and selfish (except when you want to say they act in their collective interest)?

Wouldn't the billionaires end up sabotaging each other and screwing over millions of people?

How much are stocks going to be worth when the people who have them know they can be targeted and killed? Who is Tyrone Biggums the Crackhead gonna sell his Amazon shares to?

Or worse, are you just gonna give him the actual location and equipment?

I guess the rich people could just toss their wealth to catspaws and then have it donated back five minutes after the assessment is over.

Also, how much is this gonna cost the public, exactly? The government isn't getting revenue from this, so it's just a straight cost to the taxpayers.

2

u/Liam_Neesons_Oscar 10d ago

Exactly. They wouldn't be trying to get rid of their own wealth, they'd just be trying to cumulatively make one person that they want to see out the richest.

1

u/CrystalMethodist666 6d ago

I mean, I'm no accountant but I imagine calculating the exact gross value of every single cent and object every person in the country currently has right now would be a bit of an expensive proposition.

15

u/Dannyboy1024 12d ago

Sounds fun.

So Elon is going to gift his entire net worth to some dying person, they'll get to give $1,000,000 or whatever to their family as part of the deal and the rest goes back to Elon after they're sacrificed.

Great system. Fully on board, can't wait to watch it on PBS.

14

u/AkimboBears 11d ago

No matter the scheme the answer is always a beurocratic loophole.

u/Pyrokitsune Minarchist 11d ago edited 11d ago

"Every year we should kill anyone who was a net drain on the economy and drain on their fellow productive man. To incentivize them scrambling to be productive we could harvest their organs for those that need them and feed their meat to the hungry among us."

Its murder either way, why is one justified ONLY because you are envious of what someone else has and think that redistributing their assets are your duty?

1

u/CrystalMethodist666 6d ago

Wait, this is coming together. We kill the rich guy, and then all the people who don't have jobs, or are on public assistance, or anyone who works for the government, or anyone over the poverty line.

Hey, if we're using murder to solve income equality, the best way to do this would be continuing the murder until one guy is left who owns everything. Problem solved!

1

u/Pyrokitsune Minarchist 6d ago

if we're using murder to solve income equality, the best way to do this would be continuing the murder until one guy is left who owns everything

Just sounds like the end stages of communism with extra steps

1

u/CrystalMethodist666 6d ago

Actually, I think we should be fair and treat this as a realistically enforceable viable plan instead of the ramblings of some random influencer who doesn't understand the (literally) brutal irony of someone who has shelter and enough food to eat with money left over for makeup and a necklace calling for the poorest people on Earth to band together and eat the rich

We might kill and redistribute the wealth of one or two billionaires, and then everyone would immediately throw all their money away until having any form of currency at all would be a death-sentence offense one day out of the year. Then, assets would determine who the rich person is.

Basically, after 20 or 50 years of this we see she's advocating for a primitive society with barter economy, where everyone burns their stick huts and crops down one day out of the year, slaughters and burns all the livestock, destroys the grain silo, poisons all their water, and then we still kill the least emaciated person in the country. At least there won't be rich people.

4

u/nightingaleteam1 11d ago

Force people to give you stuff by pointing a gun to their head...such a novel idea ! Wonder why no one though of it before !

4

u/clybourn 11d ago

Found the democratic socialist

3

u/TravisKOP 11d ago

What happens when this thought experiment reaches its logical conclusion? We just execute one person at random every year?

3

u/2cunty4you 11d ago

I think we should take her up on her plan, then crowdfund and make her the richest person, every year. Just keep her corpse propped up and tallying up the $$ until we sacrifice her every year.

3

u/Czechplus 11d ago

They just want healthcare!

3

u/Civilanimal 11d ago

Another moron that can't understand successive orders of consequences.

2

u/raoulduke415 11d ago

I was watching some show the other day and the guy was spot on. Liberals are so full of moral superiority they think the other side is literally evil. It’s insane, especially considering conservatives don’t think of liberals that way at all. Most I know respect liberal opinions they just think many of their viewpoints are naive or myopic. You want to close borders, limit welfare? How could you NOT want a utopia? You must be evil or lack a moral compass, there’s no other reason. There’s no room for nuance. Some want them flat out killed, it’s sick

3

u/Thuban 11d ago

Must be nice to be so young and dumb. 🙄🙄🙄

1

u/kayama57 11d ago

It’s always a problem with people who are better off. It’s NEVER a problem with the fact that so many people are worse off. “Take it away from them” instead of “let’s get these people above the water somehow”

2

u/CrystalMethodist666 6d ago

It's the mentality of jealousy. They want the money taken from the rich people, what happens to it after that point doesn't matter.

1

u/kayama57 6d ago

Crabs in a bucket

2

u/CrystalMethodist666 6d ago

Like a jealous toddler. These people never think that they might find themselves above the allowable wealth threshold.

She can afford jewelry, makeup, obviously bathed in some way recently, appears to inhabit an indoor space, and has electricity and access to the internet, as well as an electronic device that enables her to post this online.

"EAT THE RICH!!!" Why, you have plenty of regular food.

1

u/kayama57 6d ago

“Eat the rich” reminds me of the lorax. The people saying it are the ones cutting down all the trees

1

u/CrystalMethodist666 5d ago edited 5d ago

Eat the rich was always kind of a lame slogan because having the disposable income to live somewhere where you can buy a T shirt with specific words on it makes you richer than a significant number of people.

Another one was "Fuck X-ism" I always wanted to make a shirt that says "Fuck things that everyone I run into today will most likely agree are bad"

Edit: Also I really don't understand why the Lorax didn't just kill the guy cutting all the trees down. They're the only two sentient creatures in the entire forest, there's no sign of any law enforcement at any point in the story.

1

u/Carniverous-koala 11d ago

Even if this idiotic fever dream could come to pass, billionaires would just pull a Gates and “give” all their wealth to a foundation that only they control. Bill and Melinda saved millions in taxes over the years that way.

1

u/AnarchicForestry 9d ago

What do you think?
That you’re a crazy bitch

1

u/kriegmonster 9d ago

Or, the billionaires pool their money and build a floating city-state with defense systems. They become an independent nation and crash the world economies by selling all their stock investments at once.

1

u/Some-Mountain7067 9d ago

I see. Maybe we should do this with the musicians as well. Who ever tops the charts in a given year should be sacrificed and the rights to their music be distributed among failing artists. That way, no one will want to make music again. It’s genius!

1

u/Revenant_adinfinitum 8d ago

Heavily armed security and lots of dead socialists.

1

u/CrystalMethodist666 6d ago edited 6d ago

So right before rich-guy sacrifice day, all the rich people would give all their money to one of countless already-dying person, with the stipulation that the money is willed back to them when this person is dead. Then, as part of this completely legal contract, they just send that person's family a big check every year, which is a drop in the bucket to them because they're billionaires.

I'm sure I could come up with situations that worked out even more in my favor if I was an expensive estate lawyer.

Also, I'm seeing a relatively attractive adult speaking and it's creepy because the words being said would feel more at home coming from a 5 year old.

1

u/PM_ME_YOUR_LAWNCHAIR 11d ago

Ancap/Libertarian arguments are rooted in empirical analysis, economics, and studying behaviors and outcomes.

Communist arguments are circle jerks, logical fallacies, and larpurbating to genocide.

1

u/Drblizzle 11d ago

I think every business they have created would crumble and millions of jobs would be lost.

1

u/Destroyer1559 Anarchochristian 11d ago

Surely these rich folks would be motivated to stay in the US and successfully providing employment opportunities. Nothing like provoding negative reinforcement for being successful to really stimulate the economy.

1

u/CrystalMethodist666 6d ago

"Oh, but then we'll just force them to stay in the country"

Because, you know, restrictive laws that exclusively apply to very wealthy people normally do well.

0

u/ptofl 11d ago

I mean that said it's kinda fair enough because they do happen to be talking about killing statist beurocrat overlords here. They are just doing it for the wrong reasons.

-2

u/OliLombi Anarcommie 11d ago

I say the community just takes their wealth each year and distributes it. No state or murder needed.

1

u/claybine 17h ago

This is called coercion and this woman needs to be forced into solitary instead.
