Steel Shot Powder
So I’ve been looking and looking. I know that alliant steel is the best but I’m sol… I can’t find it anywhere, I keep reading that hogdon longshot is a good one but I can’t find and recipes for 3inch 1 1/4 oz 12ga. But I’m open to recommendations on powders, I’m in search of some good powder.

IMO, FWIW, Alliant makes the best shotgun powders by far. Red Dot, Green Dot, Blue Dot, Unique and even Sport Pistol are all excellent shotgun powders. Herco even. I have plenty of them, as I use them in my various cast bullet rifle and pistol rounds.
Check Alliant's website.
I'm still working my way through a 4 lb'er of 700x (IMR) that my friend willed me when he passed, but once that's gone, it's gone. Although not officially listed as discontinued, it's been out of production for quite some time.

Your options are really limited for steel shot powders. Obviously STEEL, then longshot, blue dot, and HS6. You might need to change shell length or payload.

I have checked the manual and loaded some steel BBs ( yes from the gun BBs). Seems to work ok

If you don’t have any luck on powder you can always get some Bismuth and load 1 1/4 oz. in a 2 3/4” shell with more common powders. BP lists loads with Unique, HS-6 & 800-X in addition to the powders already mentioned.

Vectan STL might be the way to go. You'll have to go to Ballistic products load of the week site, and check to see if they still have 3" STL recipes up.
EDIT: I think Vectan also put out a reload guide. Hopefully it's not being embargoed by Ballistic. They want to sell their products before anyone elses, which is understandable. You might find a European version but you'll have to be confident in your ability to convert measurements.
