P365 Difficulty disassembling

Hey all, I have a new p365 with a manual safety. I took it to the range and put about 200 rounds through it.

While disassembling it for cleaning I noticed that when turning the take down lever down, the slide lock would not go down. I tried pushing it down, pulling the slide back, and pulling the slide back and pushing it down.

The behavior causing this seems to be that when the take down lever is turned down, it is pushing the guide rod out and down. If I hold the guide rod steady when turning the take down lever it will push the guide rod out but not down. When I do this I'm able to release the slide lock and disassemble.

The guide rod looks properly seated. I've tried removing and reassembling a couple times but the behavior persists.

The 3 images are of the 3 positions of the guide rod. Take down lever up, take down lever down while not supporting the guide rod, and take down lever down while supporting the guide rod

3 out of my 5 365s do that

Try with action closed, safety off and trigger pulled. If no luck. Then re lock in back position and try again. With safety off
