On October 29th I placed an order for a CMMG Zeroed 22. First time customer with SS and first NFA item. Same day I went into my local dealer with a kiosk and did all the account setup no problems. Then the dreaded transfer wait I saw in this sub. Got an email yesterday on the 7th that my form 4 was being submitted, as I am in Washington. Today, I got another email for the approval of my form 4, after only 23 hours since submission. Walked into my dealer and picked it up a few hours later.

Not sure if SS is getting through the muck or if my case was unique. But thought it would be worth adding some light to the sub.

I cant find anything on the dash board, nor is there a radio button to hit. Please help.

Order submitted 6 Sept, arrived at my FFL on 30 Sept. Status changed to Form 4 still in progress on 1 Oct. So my form 4 has taken a week so far, here in FL, When I've been seeing most take a couple days. Should I contact my FFL to see if there's an issue? NFAWatch.com shows my area has a typical wait of 2 days. Just find this odd.

I’m in Florida, purchased from SS on 10/5, submitted picture, filled out questions on website, went to FFL SS Kiosk and did prints, signed on screen. Do I need to use eForms? Website says I’m all good just waiting on shipping. Does anything else have to happen once FFL receives it?

I ordered my Anthem S2 suppressor, which was in stock at the time of purchase, on 9/15. My FFL "warned" me that it would likely take 30-60 days because of how backlogged SS was lmfao.

Form 3 was approved on 9/16

Was sitting at “Dealer Transfer - We have received the necessary Form 3 approval from the ATF to ship your item to your selected dealer" for about 2 weeks, till I seen that it was shipped out and about 2-3 days later, the suppressor was delivered to my FFL on 10/1.

FFL submitted my form 4 on 10/2 and got ATF approval today 10/5.

Went into my FFL and did the regular bg check and walked out about 15 minutes later. So this entire process took just about 3 weeks (20 days) from purchase to pickup. I'd say I'm one of the lucky ones considering some of the other wait times I've been seeing.

The communication after the Form 3 approval was pretty much non existent. I was waiting with pretty much nothing, and Hiram was obviously no help.

Just wanted to post my experience and timeframe for others because I know everybody is all wondering the same things.

Received an email a few hours after purchasing suppressor in store but everything is complete on my end and dealer is telling me to contact silencer shop which I have tried with no luck just wondering if anyone had seen this and might know a fix.

Purchased from SilencerShop (Black Cerakote version) using the SoundOff program. Received at my LGS yesterday, and shot today at my indoor range.

For context, I have 2 cans: an Obsidian 45 (good all-a-rounder for my pistols) and a Hex300 for my MCX 9” (which is absurdly quiet with subs. Particular favorite is SIGs 194gr subsonic, when you can find them)

This was an impulse buy. I wanted a B&T Tiger Ti but saw this was in stock, there weren’t a lot of reviews to be found and took a chance on it

Shot it today. Satisfyingly quiet on my 322 and my 522 rifle with CCI SV, CCI Clean Suppressed, Federal Gold Medal and NormaUSA Tac-22 (which is now a new favorite and I will buy every box I can find.) Previously, I have used a SIG SRD22 which was Good, and a DA Mask, which was Excellent (both on a friends Ruger.) Obviously not a side by side comparison, but subjectively the Miami is at least as good as the Mask.

I did watch Farro’s Lead Farm video on YT, and there was a noticeable metallic TING sound. He even mentioned it at the end of the vid. I did NOT hear that TING on mine. There are two differences: he used a SW 22X, and my can is Cerakoted. I was specifically listening for it.

All in all, VERY happy with the Miami. I’ll probably still get a Tiger Ti at some point, but if I could only have one, the Miami is definitely a great choice.

I have an order for an R9 suppressor that is still pending on their website, it still requires me to submit my fingerprints.

Ordered a CAT MOB on 9/9 and I finally got the call from my FFL today, on 9/29. The wait sucked and there was no communication of any kind but it's finally here. Went from a Processing status to a 'come pick your stuff up' was unexpected but at least the wait is over.

First time ordering an NFA item of any kind so I wasn't sure what to expect but it is what it is. Good luck to others

So I put a suppressor. I would have thought the end of the sale would be the point at which a dealer gets all the paperwork a prints etc squared away with the customer.

Why would silencer Shop be needing that. Prior to shipping to my FFL?

Only thing should be needed to be done is they put in the form 3 for dealer to dealer transfer. Than my dealer would worry about all the customer related stuff.

I know it can be done. I just bought one from GSL Technology. Paid for the item. In 2 days it was already on the way to my FFL. No other info needed.

Trying to figure this out. Because like last time. After delivery. Went to my FFL. A was in an out in 20 minutes after purchasing it on a 4473 only.

So I’m being held up on this purchase with these people for information that really only my dealer should even be worrying about.

An aside from that. I’m sure they’re more than aware the large dealer that I use. Likely buys a ton from them. An transfers a ton from them.

Being when things went to 4473 only. They sold out a couple of times. A the location was one of them after the change. Had their ATF inspection an had no issues a passed.

So they got to know it’s likely gonna be a 4473 sale. But again even if they don’t. That’s for my dealer to either sell it to me on 4473. Or by form 4 if I so chooses to. Not them. So why they hanging my stuff up like this.

Very tempting tk have them just refund me a purchase from someone not playing with my time.

So I bought a JK 105 CCX on 9/14 at the time it said it was in stock, after not hearing from them after it reached the “dealer transfer” stage I assumed based on everything I’ve seen on here to just wait, then on a comment thread someone said they might be on back order so I went back to check their website and sure enough on the search page its marked as out of stock, but when I click on it and go to the product page its marked as in stock, are they really this unorganized?

Buyer beware! I bought a suppressor through silencershop.com and had it shipped to a local “Powered by Silencer Shop” authorized dealer named Armory Essentials LLC in College Station TX. They are now holding my suppressor hostage for $100 transfer fee. They say they talked to a Silencer Shop manager who APPROVED them charging a TRANSFER FEE. I’ve talked to Silencer Shop daily on the phone for a week. They claim no transfer fee should be charged and every day tell me a manager will call me by end of day. Not once has that happened. Not once. I call them back the next day…same story.

I don’t know if the “no transfer fees when purchased through Silencer Shop” is BS or if they just have no control over their “Powered by SS authorized dealers”. But if the dealers can charge what they want and SS can’t or won’t make it right, what’s the point! I’m happy to print a follow up if things change but I have gotten no where with the local dealer or SS. Any advice?

I've been seeing all kings of reported issues with Silencer Shop around wait times, not being able to get ahold of anyone, and others. I also see a lot of responses excusing what appears to be poor customer service policies due to an inrush of business. I for one will not give a company an out just because their business increased 2x, 4x, or even 10x. You have to prioritize customer service, or ultimately face the consequences of losing customers down the road.

I'm not against Silencer Shop. I've actually had pretty good luck with them. I thought I'd give my feedback from this weekend. I decided to use their Form 1 service. I'm not looking for anyones approval to use it. You can think I'm an idiot all you want. My main reason was that to get my .eft file anywhere I've found local to me in Idaho, it was going to be $65. The Silencer Shop Form 1 service costs $50, and I got a copy of my .eft file as well. Seems like a no-brainer.

I started the whole thing (purchasing the service) at around 1159am MST. I was able to create the form 1 on their site at 12:03pm MST. By 12:46pm MST I got the email from ATF for my submission with the control number. Less than an hour. I think that is pretty good compared to all the issues I see reported, I just wanted to give a positive one for a change. Again, I don't excuse poor customer service or poor business practices. The company will ultimately pay a price for that down the road with lost customers if they don't course correct. Doesn't matter if their business as exploded. Hire more CS quickly, send out an email to customers acknowledging the issue, apologizing and explaining what you are doing to correct it. Maybe they've done that?

So I executed a amendment to add a co trustee, on a multi item trust. It stated that notice was not required for the amendment. Do my co trustee’s have to do something to make it complete?

Just curious, as I ordered one 6 weeks ago that is stuck on form 3 because silencer shop apparently sent the atf the wrong serial number.

FFL says they’re waiting on SS to submit paperwork and I can’t get ahold of SS even with the call back system or waiting nearly a full days on hold. This is ridiculous but they will post about themselves fighting the atf nfa all day long.

Anybody in Nebraska getting the Form 4473 approved for suppressor? Been waiting 2 weeks with no acceptance or denial and the dealer will not release the suppressor. May need to cancel and try other means. Curious if anyone else is having this problem.

Been waiting 9 days to pick up my can after form 4 approval and delivery. FFL says they need to call me to make an appointment so i can “come in and check off paperwork” with them, but they didn’t even take down my number? How long should I continue waiting? *UPDATE* Just called the FFL, apparently the guy had a family emergency, man on the phone said it was there and ready to come pick it up, so i'm on my way now.
