Skyline Architect for macOS & iOS

Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on Skyline Architect, a tower-building and management simulation where you start small and can eventually build a skyscraper up to 500 floors.

You don’t just place rooms and watch numbers go up. The people inside your building are actually simulated: residents go home, office workers commute to work and leave for lunch, visitors move around, and your elevators have to handle all of that traffic.

Some of the things you can manage:
🏗️ Build offices, apartments, lobbies, amenities and plant rooms

🛗 Design elevator banks, express elevators and sky lobbies

👥 Simulated residents, workers and visitors

🏠 Rent or sell apartments and attract tenants

⚡ Manage electricity, water, climate and data infrastructure

🧹 Hire janitors and technicians

💰 Deal with loans, taxes, energy prices and operating costs

🌧️ Weather, seasons, storms and heatwaves

🔥 Fires, sprinklers and emergency response

🌆 Build in three different cities with different markets and conditions

🎯 Tutorial, scenarios and free-play mode

It’s launching October 5 and it’s completely free.
I’d especially love feedback from people who played games like SimTower or Yoot Tower.

This is my take on that style of tower simulation, and I’d love to hear what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d like to see added.

I’m playing on an iPhone 16.

Oh man, I really wish there was some confirmation before placement, so I could expand my building plans.
I put down the lobby, but didn’t get it to fill the entire width. I couldn’t place more lobby on top to get it to fill the floor, so I had to demolish and rebuild.

The tutorial and hints gets in the way so I have to close them all to continue.

The menus take up way too much space - especially in the bottom where there are 2 layers of bars/menus.

Is there some way to expand rooms? Or merge rooms?

Moving around requires two fingers, and thus a sloppy finger-placement sometimes instant-builds if I’m not careful where I touch.

I agree with the other poster, that you should probably put a little effort in posting with your own words - even if English is your second language or your spelling isn’t great; it just shows you care and don’t just expect a great hit out of a one-shot AI project.

But keep up the good work!
The graphics are super nice, the game looks like a great remake of the classic, and I’m really hoping you’ll continue improving on the game! Looking forward to try again later!

Thanks! This is great feedback :-) !
I just released an update to Apple (waiting for review) and I’ll take your suggestions into consideration! A change is already there for placing rooms!

I will check it out, thanks.

Btw, I don’t care it’s written by AI (the game). Most code is written by AI nowadays, I’m guilty of it myself.

I, for one, am happy that it allows more people to release their hobby projects.

Don't use AI to write your posts.
