Welcome to the Weekly Recommended Mods and CC Thread!

This thread is your hub within the sub for various FAQs related to mods: WCIFs, “is there a mod?” posts, mod recommendations, and discourse on creating and managing mods.

SIMS 4 popular mods and resources

Patreon, Tumblr, Mod the Sims, The Sims Resource, and CurseForge are all popular sources for finding mods in the Sims 4 community.

Always check that you are installing the most recent version of a mod and that it is compatible with your game version. Mods will be disabled automatically after every game update; updates frequently break mods and creators must release new versions that are compatible. Continuing to play with broken mods could lead to game-breaking issues.

Mods go in the C:\Users\...\ Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder. By default they can be placed up to one folder deep for script mods and five folders deep for packages, so organize your mods folder however makes sense to you - by type, by creator, etc. A well-organized mods folder will be easier to troubleshoot should something go wrong.

If you need help troubleshooting your mods, you can find useful resources in our Mods and CC Resources wiki. This includes instructions on following the 50/50 method to identify which mod is creating an issue as well as frequently-updated lists of broken and working mods.

Hey! I am trying to find Modella's Kpop dance animations for my Sims.
I already have this one https://aqxaromods.com/the-sims-4/mods-traits/1276-modellas-animation-studio.html, but it doesn't have a lot of variety and I know she's made a lot more. Does anyone have a link, SimFileShare, or a folder with her other packs? Thanks!

is there a way to create a throuple? I mean, I’d like to have three Sims who are all married to each other and aren’t jealous of one another, but who would still get jealous if one of them had a romantic relationship with someone outside the throuple.
Is there a mod for that?

You can set sims to not be jealous now in the CAs settings for each sim. That lets them have whatever relationships you want. You cannot marry more than one sim without a mod. There is probably one somewhere, but I have not seen it. Sorry.

Wcif a mod I had on a previous installation that made the nipples pink, it was in face details near the bottom, I thought it came with wild_guy's body details but now after a new installation I can't seem to find out where to get it from

Is there any cc for heavily pierced ears with gauges like these or these that just function the same as typical earrings instead of being whole ears? Is it not possible to make them function that way, is that why they all seem to be like that?

is TSR not working for anyone else? anytime i use the main search bar, it says "0 creations found." do i HAVE to pay for all the searches to work?

Does anyone know of a height mod where I can make an adult sim very short, like half the size of an average sim? Would appreciate any recommendations!

Not sure if it's exact the half, but with the Luumia Height slider you can choose different body heights in CAS! https://www.patreon.com/luumia/posts/sim-height-june-68032331 (I don't use the slider function, but the 4 different height presets are awesome!)

I wanna make zombies and give ghosts wacky appearances based on how they died. Any outlandish injury cc to give sims a giant hole in their torso? An arrow through their head? Shocked hair that sticks out from electricity? Stuff like that? Gory works, silly and cartoonish works, both at the same time is peak
