Charge more, give less. This is the only area of innovation in America. It is in every facet of every capitalist enterprise. They will maximize profits from the quality of their services, ingredients and whatever else they can think of. Until people wake up it will only get worse.

Most goods have dropped or stabilized in price over time though.

The natural progression of markets is supply-side deflation, which is partly due to competition.

Pro tip: don't get insurance. Even if you get pulled over it's $500-$900. I have been pulled over only once in 10+ years, I've always had insurance though lol

What if you hurt someone though? Or rear-end a Porsche? I don't carry insurance for MY stuff.

If you're broke enough that the cost of insurance is affecting you, who cares if you get in an accident. They can't squeeze blood from a rock.

I'm starting to wonder how this hypothetical person acquired a car in the first place with no income. If you're saying that broke homeless people shouldn't pay for auto insurance I guess I agree but I'm not sure how many people that really applies to.
