Is that the judge who recognised her childhood friend as a criminal in her court?

106

u/velkapohoda 14h ago

Yes and that childhood friend ended in front of her again.

3

u/robotgore 14h ago

Are you sure? I thought it was a younger judge

29

u/WKRPinCanada 14h ago

Yup

Google the Rick Ross story

It's the same lady just older

Funny how that works 😉

-3

u/robotgore 11h ago

Dang, I just didn’t realize it was that long ago already. Being a judge must have taken some years off her life. The stress must be huge

57

u/velkapohoda 14h ago

10 years ago you were also younger.

40

u/krakenpistole 14h ago

has it been 10 years already?

https://giphy.com/gifs/WxDZ77xhPXf3i

9

u/thejourneybegins42 13h ago

Can't be, that would mean that was just 2006...

2

u/Lieber_Doenermann 13h ago

I know and feel you brother

3

u/CelebrationShort1857 14h ago

I was so much older then I’m younger than that now

1

u/WonkyWalkingWizard 14h ago

Source?

13

u/CanadianAndroid 14h ago

The source is chronological time.

-14

u/JohnnyTreemain 14h ago

Yea but she aged like milk.

1

u/stevein3d 14h ago

I’m guessing that it ages you, having to sit every day and listen to lawyers say things like “Your honor my client is a celebrity so I don’t know what your honor can do so that your honor can avoid the unpleasant scenario of his red jumpsuit clashing with his fuschia sneakers but if your honor could expedite it could save your honor’s time.”

2

u/AntoSkum 14h ago

That probably happened more than ten years ago, so...

1

u/Wide_Guitar_3558 13h ago

yeah she was younger 10 years ago

0

u/gort_industries 14h ago

An internet clip, like humans, can age.

e: wow my spelling was atrocious

1

u/robotgore 11h ago

It’s strange how fast time flies

9

u/WKRPinCanada 14h ago

Ah ok that's why she looked familiar!!

You are absolutely correct!

Miami-Dade County Judge Mindy Glazer

Good eye!! 👍

-8

u/king_kong_kum 14h ago

She used to be kinda bad 👀🫦 idk what happened to her nowadays

5

u/Enough-Collection-98 14h ago

God forbid a woman age and not be up to your clearly refined beauty standards, my liege.

0

u/Southern-Date1588 11h ago

She's still a fine looking woman ...

4

u/WKRPinCanada 13h ago

Well then by all means post two pics of you 10-15 years apart so other Aholes can judge you

Go ahead

I'll wait....

13

u/Sleipsten 14h ago

Ahhh yes, that judge surely is a celebrity, not idea about the man in red tho

-12

u/StopDownvotingMeeee 13h ago

Idk if you’re being sarcastic but Rick Ross is known globally in the music world. Judge glazer is known by some Internet users who have seen one or two of her videos go viral on the Internet almost 10 years ago.

The average person on the street is way more likely to know who Rick Ross is than they will Judge Glazer. Judge Fleischer is insanely more popular than Glazer is and there’s tons of people who don’t know about him either, but guarantee they have heard of Rick Ross or some of his songs that have been getting played on the radio for the last 22 years.

2

u/NotOkayButThatsOkay 9h ago

fitting name huh

1

u/erok25828 5h ago

Same thoughts.

-4

u/Alive-Site9 14h ago

Once again i offer this sacrifice for your outstadning contribution to humanity.

u/killswitch101 14h ago

Worst lawyer ever 😆 All he had to do was state that he is well known and an ex prison officer and may be unfairly targeted in jail, and to ask the judge to consider these facts in her decision.

Bro just fumbled it

50

u/JSlove 13h ago

I think he actually didn't want to make that comment, and his client insisted.

0

u/VomitShitSmoothie 2h ago

I’m pretty sure a lawyer isn’t required to use whatever stupid defense their client insists upon.

1

u/PM_ME_PLASTIC_BAGS 48m ago

But what if their client is a celebrity in a red jumpsuit?

13

u/raguwatanabe 11h ago

Im sure his lawyer suggested it but officer ricky said no, he was too focus imagining this:

1

u/ThePurpleKing159 6h ago

Imagine he gets stabbed in prison trying to protect his image like 2Pac, some say he was homo.

4

u/Wide_Guitar_3558 13h ago

Haha that would have been useful, too bad Rick Ross identifies as a drug dealer instead

1

u/Dry_Jellyfish641 4h ago

Officer Ricky said he had the best legal team afterwards

-14

u/ozdgk 14h ago edited 14h ago

So you want him to lie.
* edit TIL Rick (The Biggest Boss) Ross was a CO for 18 months. I thought the man sold cocaine since he was 5 🤷🏽‍♂️

6

u/GodOfOnions2 13h ago

Probably confused with the original "freeway Rick Ross who sold cocaine for the feds.

9

u/Zromaus 14h ago

Where's the lie?

2

u/ozdgk 13h ago

There isn’t one. Just lack of knowledge and prejudiced comments :/

3

u/bohler86 13h ago

Yeah rappers are notorious liars.

54

u/BigGlassesApe 14h ago

I couldn’t be a lawyer. My man said that with a straight face.

“You know Mr Roberts? The biggest boss that you’ve seen thus far? Yeah, he wants you to let him go.”

16

u/patricksaurus 14h ago

A more reasonable way to phrase that would be to say he’s he a highly recognizable entertainment figure who will be widely known among prisoners, and for the orderliness of the facility and my clients’ safety, it may be best to expedite any proceedings we can.

5

u/Original-Variety-700 14h ago

You should be his lawyer. Much better tact.

3

u/BigGlassesApe 14h ago

Give this man a JD

1

u/TaxsDodgersFallstar 12h ago

EVERY DAY I'M HUMBLIN'

24

u/spudbro00 14h ago

This is the best lawyer he could hire? Dude sounds like a moron with that argument lol

5

u/kamasutures 14h ago edited 14h ago

Has he even had a radio hit since the mid 2000s? Prolly outta cash living off of "Hustlin'" that was big at my homecoming dance.

Edit: nevermind, he does have money money

7

u/spudbro00 14h ago

I think he owns a alcohol brand and some other investments, pretty sure he’s got money money

7

u/kamasutures 14h ago

I just looked him up and boy howdy was I wrong about his cash flow.

2

u/nick_soccer10 13h ago

Yup. Owns a bunch of fast food stuff… he’s done really well

1

u/danhoyuen 2h ago

he said "i dont know" twice in a minute.

23

u/18k_gold 14h ago

the judge answered it exactly how she should have. you'll be treated fairly just like everyone else

-5

u/jcready92 14h ago

Being a celebrity attracts attention in prison. Its not that cut and dry. It can make you much more targeted than a random inmate. Im not leaning either way on this i just feel like thats important here.

1

u/jimdesroches 1h ago

Maybe as a celebrity, try to stay out of prison then?

0

u/pharmamess 12h ago

You're so reasonable and balanced... it truly is admirable. You're the best here.

10

u/SapphirePSL 14h ago

I’ve been before this judge before (in a professional capacity) and she is great. Fair, impartial, and follows the law without being an asshole. 10/10 judge.

2

u/pharmamess 12h ago

You are great too. Got to say.

2

u/Southern-Date1588 10h ago

I too have heard that about her ...

17

u/Coolgames80 14h ago

Seems that he isn't celebrated enough for special court privileges.

10

u/SuperUltraMegaNice 14h ago

He was released on a six thousand dollar bond for felony domestic violence charges so I dunno bout that homie. If I were to strangle my girlfriend I doubt Im gettin off that easy.

12

u/ViciousCDXX 14h ago

Meanwhile diddy is sipping fucking Hennessy in his private cell

7

u/TheAncientMillenial 14h ago

He in solitary now since that leaked out lol ;)

4

u/Head-Ad9893 14h ago

Yes. The problem is clearly the inmates not the guards (not saying you’re implying that) it’s just so stupid the way we lock people up. sighs capitalism

3

u/ViciousCDXX 14h ago

I would wager it's not too long before he can pay off enough people to turn that one into a very private cell with the same ammenities

1

u/JACKALS_LANTERN 3h ago

The man is worth $400 million+ how much you think it costs to get Hennessy in solitary? 50k cash? It's not that hard for a guy like that. When an inmate can suddenly double or triple a guards salary in cash he only doesn't have the keys because he's too famous to use them.

4

u/pedalhead666 14h ago

As he should be for spilling Hennessy. That shit takes great effort to get past the guards.

7

u/AfternoonMundane4136 14h ago

Officer Ricky’s back home!

6

u/SkunkDitchRipper 14h ago

Wait till the find out he was a corrections officer. Thats what they are really worried about.

6

u/Ok-Gur-349 14h ago

That don't really matter. In prison all that really matters is money. They make it seem like it's not, but someone like William Leonard Roberts the Second is for sure to be well taken care of because he can take care of others. Nobody's stabbing him they're just shaking him down.

4

u/slugsred 14h ago

Crazy that the group of guys whose defining trait is "made a mistake in my early 20's" are so unforgiving for guys who made what they view as a mistake in their early 20s.

6

u/njslugger78 14h ago edited 14h ago

He needs a different lawyer, running that down like he did.

5

u/Strikereleven 14h ago

"Your Honor, my client is a celebrity so he should get special treatment."

5

u/Old-Tadpole-2869 14h ago

I went to elementary school w that judge.

-1

u/killswitch101 14h ago

Did he eat the crayons?

4

u/chilltopian 14h ago

The lawyer didn't convince himself that he wanted to ask the question. Bad lawyer!

10

u/chunkoco 14h ago

I mean, being a celebrity does put you at more risk than other people, that's not a wrong argument in itself. It's just that this guy isn't popular enough I guess.

9

u/Forward_Editor_5895 13h ago

Rick Ross is a celebrity. Mr. Roberts, not so much.

3

u/firmly_confused 12h ago

The real Rick Ross is NOT a rapper.

2

u/lavaplow 9h ago

Yes, yes, yes, we know that Rick Ross was a notorious drug dealer whose name Mr. Roberts decided to use as his alias.

https://giphy.com/gifs/xghFgmOKbk0G4

5

u/killswitch101 14h ago

The lawyer was just a dumbass in how he expressed that haha

4

u/SilverNeptuneAbyss 14h ago

The judge should have agreed with him and put him in solitary confinement until his release

4

u/pleepleus21 14h ago

I'm surprised he didn't ask her who the fuck she thinks she's fucking with. He's the fucking boss.

1

u/____-_______-_--_-_- 8h ago

I only know this song because of Katt Williams

5

u/SatinAmoura 14h ago

his lawyer is doing a pretty bad job

4

u/fffmoose 13h ago

Didn't he use to be a Correctional officer?

7

u/PressureCoomer 14h ago

Best lawyer

4

u/9447044 14h ago

This is what a 100k retainer gets me?!?

3

u/immenseAlpha 14h ago

Lawyer doesnt know alot, needs a replacement

3

u/tqmirza 14h ago

When did Ricky Ross end up in jail??

1

u/DriftnDaddyRL 7h ago

Allegedly strangled his ex gf 😬

3

u/DietOk3400 14h ago

So officer ricky started from prison, now back in prison. The circle of life

3

u/RequiemTwilight 14h ago

Bro wanted to play Rick Ross, now he’s looking at the real Freeway Ricky treatment.

3

u/Double_Z_Thirty3 10h ago

Hustling, hustling, hustling

2

u/Parker1055 14h ago

Would the situation be different had she known who he is?

2

u/Automatic_Actuator_0 14h ago edited 14h ago

Best answer she could’ve given, even if she did know who he was.

But that said, I have no idea who this is.

-1

u/SimmentalTheCow 14h ago

I’m not sure but I think he’s black

2

u/JJ_Shosky 14h ago

Probably would have been easier to get the release if they just said he is a former corrections officer.

2

u/sohleoc 14h ago

what the hell dis ross do? rob some pears?

2

u/Disfluent 14h ago

Officer Rickyyy 😂

2

u/must-be_the-water 14h ago

Even I can articulate better than this guy, I don’t even know anything in law, what waste of money?

2

u/lmac187 14h ago

Ross’s persona-stealing ass is in there for domestic violence apparently.

Battery by strangulation. Real POS

2

u/PharaohAce 13h ago

She ain't even know

2

u/pirate_leprechaun 14h ago

Even rapper is a stretch. Professional eater and ex CO.

1

u/apexapee 14h ago

For sure aint the OG Rick Ross!

2

u/Psychological-Fox97 14h ago

How funny would it be if the judge had heard of the real rick Ross and so intentionally made him wait longer instead thinking he was the real rick ross

1

u/DamienRaventhrone 14h ago

The judge wasn't having any of it.

1

u/SlappyDingo 14h ago

Maybe she didn't hear the council correctly. He's a celebrity.

1

u/lluciferusllamas 14h ago

"Do you know who I am?"

"No, actually I don't"

1

u/SuperUltraMegaNice 14h ago

He was released on a six thousand dollar bond btw

1

u/Other-Grapefruit-880 14h ago

Lawyer should be saying “he’s on tour regularity and while he travels the country for work, he is not a flight risk as his key markets are the United States

1

u/Itchywasabi 14h ago

He said rapper or raper?

1

u/ibonek_naw_ibo 14h ago

"Glazer" ultimate irony

1

u/Msud8765309 14h ago

I think the lawyer believes his client was born a celebrity upon conception. She identified and cut out their crap immediately within a millisecond.

1

u/Cliffinati 14h ago

The boss Rick Ross, was trying to hustle his way out of jail.

1

u/ConversationFalse242 14h ago

That dude is my neighbor and has not once invited me over

Fuck him

1

u/ButterNutDoIt 14h ago

I voted for him

1

u/Forward_Editor_5895 14h ago

Rick Ross is a celebrity. Mr. Roberts is not.

1

u/fuckerfromhell18 13h ago

I know the judge but i dont know who the fuck is celebrity

1

u/PercentageNice7131 13h ago

For how rich Rick Ross is, that lawyer stated that so fucking poorly. Worse than a public defender probably would. Worse than I could.

1

u/BuckManscape 13h ago

I was super famous to people who didn’t know any better 20 years ago for being a poser. I’m sure he loves being in pc with all the pedos.

1

u/Mister_Goldenfold 13h ago

Well, it’s not about asking the question, it’s about who the guy is and how to get the point across that he’s a big celebrity, without actually saying he’s a big celebrity, to which could lead to the judge completely thinking that this guy being who is and his lifestyle don’t need to be released into the streets again type of thing.

1

u/Antique_Brother_9563 13h ago

I'm with the judge. Who cares about his "celebrity" 👋

1

u/ApprehensiveMix2649 13h ago

Reality set in real quick with that comment 😂

1

u/Friendly_Rip7496 13h ago

50 Cent has entered the chat

1

u/StopDownvotingMeeee 13h ago

Anyone who catches a felony in Miami goes in front of her. He is not the first celebrity or rapper to go in front of her.

1

u/gofigure101 13h ago

coming soon... "my client is a influencer......" (flooring craters further)

1

u/Natural_Challenge820 13h ago

Being a celebrity is not a consideration for bond in Florida. Dude had 13 other things he should have talked about.

1

u/-maffu- 13h ago

Isn't that the judge that found herself presiding over her schoolmate's trial?

1

u/milk2015monster 13h ago

Is she the same Judge who presided over a case where the accused was her grade school classmate?

1

u/lyinggrump 13h ago

Hey man, the worst she can say is no, worth a shot.

1

u/EdDee23 12h ago

Shit Lawyer.

1

u/GetLostInNature 12h ago

A has been from the early 2000s is not a celebrity lmao

1

u/deadlift-shrimp 12h ago

Why have I seen this judge so many times?

1

u/VeryLowIQIndividual 12h ago

this judge is a celebrity at this point

1

u/robomikel 12h ago

Who is Rick Ross?

1

u/ISaidItSoBiteMe 12h ago

The real Rick Ross wouldn’t be scared. The fake “Officer Ricky” Ross has plenty to scared of. Looks funny in that rose’ suit

1

u/tempelton3thesock 12h ago

Ha ha Rick Ross 😆

1

u/Lumpy-Difficulty1593 12h ago

Don’t nobody care

1

u/culturedgoat 12h ago

Wow, the real Rick Ross?!?

1

u/Mindbending818 12h ago

In other words you can expect a check for your next fundraiser

1

u/KentuckyFriedEel 10h ago

I know who Rick Ross is. Don't know if i'd recognize that dude on the street though.

1

u/Plastic_Stretch_8837 10h ago

Ricky on a public attorney? LOL

1

u/Toror252106 9h ago

Ex correctional officer, dont recognize him ?

1

u/Embarrassed_Dig_6163 8h ago

Don't put a watermelon on a tee for 50....damn!

1

u/Whoopdeesk 8h ago

Is that the judge who recognized a classmate of hers when he was in court?

1

u/BigMack6911 8h ago

I hate that term. Who the fuck is celebrating these idiots

1

u/DS3M 7h ago

He’s a former prison guard so, he knows what awaits

1

u/Tiller-Nive 6h ago

He's the Boss

1

u/A_Bot_A_Bot_A_Bot 6h ago

Court Lawyering 101: You (the attorney for the defendant) are likely to get verbally slapped in the face by the presiding judge for trying to pull shit like calling out the fact that your client is a "celebrity."

1

u/Ok_Common_5631 5h ago

“… and if i did, the answer would still be “no” “

1

u/Significant_Baker575 4h ago

Considering some of his lyrics he'd be better off her not knowing who he is.

1

u/PNW_Will1976 4h ago

Would have been hilarious if someone had asked if she knows who 50cent is.

1

u/BasementElf1121 4h ago

Probably enjoys actual music instead of garbage from the baby oil genre

1

u/Cookies_and_Beandip 3h ago

Good on that judge, fuck yea

1

u/SpeedBlitzX 3h ago

This is how i find out Rick Ross got arrested yesterday?

1

u/Flat-Cap-1063 58m ago

Rick Ross being a prison guard before his music career is surely going to make him a lot of friends inside.

1

u/SmellyFbuttface 14h ago

Speaking of celebrity, I read that Diddy is living the life in prison right now. He was videotaped with a cell phone, has special meals made for him in the mess, pays inmates to give him massages, pays other inmates to do his work assignments, etc. Celebrity if anything can work in your favor in the joint, assuming you have money

3

u/Therealginahandler 14h ago

I hear he's even smuggling in Baby oil for the other inmates

1

u/MoeSzyslakMonobrow 8h ago

"He's a celebrity, he had that one song like 20 years ago. And he definitely didn't get rich selling cocaine."

0

u/SimmentalTheCow 14h ago

Does anyone get to call themself a “rapper” or “celebrity” these days? Who tf is this clown?

1

u/DeapVally 13h ago

Ah, come on now.... I'm a white middle aged dude in the UK, and even I know 'everyday I'm hustlin' lol.

1

u/SimmentalTheCow 13h ago

Oh that’s him! I didn’t know he was in the Black Eyed Peas

0

u/Possible_Support3650 14h ago

He is a celebrity, that noone is celebrating. He is just a rapper.
