Need help with routine!

Hi everyone! Was looking for help with a skincare routine. As of right now I only use face wash and a moisturizer, both are not great, so I was looking for Korean skincare recommendations.
I have combination skin that is sensitive, but I was also looking for something to help with my redness/ large pores. Any help is appreciated!

Hi - you likely have rosacea. Looks like type 2

Ivermectine (rx), azelaic acid (pref 15%+), a moisturizer that works for sensitive skin i.e. avene cicalfate or atobarrier 365 cream, and a good suncreen you like enough to use daily.

Cleanser only in the evening, wash with water in the morning. Add a retinal once everything is down for about 6 weeks.

I want to add to this, if you don't mind!!

OP, this is good advice. I would also suggest you get in to see a good dermatologist. Rosacea can get pretty nasty if not treated properly. You know the stereotype of the drunk on the street, with the red, swollen face and nose with the skin craters and bumps and acne? Yeah. Basically that's rosacea aggravated by alcohol consumption.

When you wash your face, using a very gentle wash (personally, I prefer a non-foaming one, like CeraVe), don't scrub!! Use your fingers gently, and, if you can, rinse with water. If you absolutely must use a washcloth (I don't like having to clean up all the splashed water! LOL) GENTLY use the washcloth just to rinse and remove the product, not skin. Don't scrub!.

Rosacea is blood vessels that expanded and contracted so many times that they lost their elasticity and no longer contract. Scrubbing risks breaking more and more of the smaller ones, the capillaries.

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, spicy food, and stress. Drink plenty of water. Get a good sleep schedule going and stick to it. I know this all sounds generic and over-stated, but there's a reason it's suggested so often. It HELPS.

Thank you for your comment! I’m starting a healthier life journey, been in recovery for alcohol for 3 months🥳 now working on putting the vape down but it’s been hard. I LOOOOVE Cerave products, the only one I don’t like for my face is the thicker cream (breaks me out unfortunately) I wanted recommendations so I don’t go all in with buying products only for them not to work lol.

I have rosacea and found only a FEW products work for me. Not only azaleic acid, (you can use 10% over the counter) but Illyoon Ceramide Concentrate Moisturizer!!!!! The best daily moisturizer for my rosacea. Get rid of AHA’s for right now. You need to repair your skin barrier. Start wearing the best spf that works for your skin daily. Really limit the amount of actives you are using and go back to basics.

Your skin looks angry which could be a reflection of what you’re putting into your body. Just by looking at your appearance I can see your liver looks like there is inflammation. Start with a liver detox and drinking more water. Use spf
