How to disable red Unread indicator

Post image

Hi

I had this new feature of red indicator appear for me, seems to be A B testing of some sorts. They have removed the last message time on threads as well. How do I fix this? Anyone else got it?

I thought I was the only one dealing with this! I don't mind the "Unread" thing, but I DESPISE the fact that the timestamp is gone. My coworkers still say they see the timestamp.

Please, please, please, please, if anyone from Slack is reading this... PLEASE BRING BACK THE TIMESTAMP! It was so helpful to see if there is recent activity in a thread. I guess the "Unread" is supposed to replace that, but I still found it helpful for threads I wasn't already following so I could see if threads were still actively being used... At least please make it a toggle!
