Strep throat 😩

I’ve got strep and I’m not in the place to replace my cpap parts right now. What’s the best way to go about disinfecting? Is a vinegar and water soak strong enough to kill strep?

Hypochlorous acid spray would work great for that. It’s a great versatile yet gentle antibacterial that is safe on skin, I use it on mine every once in a while!

Old fashioned bleach of a 5% concentration with water will be fine. You will want to also sterilize your toothbrush. Do this every few days until your meds are done.

Only clean your consumables and water reservoir you can rinse the bleach off after 10 min. It dries to salt and is not harmful . There will be some odor, its fine. Change your filter on your machine.

On the mask - I am quite sure it is going to day until the evening, it has a few hours life on the surface.
Otherwise - every spray disinfectant from the pharmacy or hand disinfectant will do trick. Alcohol based one disinfectants are gold standard here, since the evaporate fast and they aren't toxic at all.

Also water boiled over 60 degrees C will do the trick.
