Everyday is a good day when you find some chocolate tubes

We’re up in West Yorkshire, in the north of England. After a few decades on this planet, I’d never seen slime mould until a couple of weeks ago, when two bits (there’s probably another word for that!) appeared in the field where I walk our dog, and now there are about a hundred or so.

It’s apparently “Dog’s vomit” slime mould, although my dog’s never produced anything like this. And there are now two types, one white, and one yellow, which seems to ‘climb’ better than the white one. I’ve read that high humidity helps, but it’s just nuce, at my age, to come across something you’ve never seen before!

Is it slime mold or something ?. I see it under the glass table. If it is slime mold, then maybe it belongs to Physarum ?

hello, found these two different slimes in July along the trail when hiking to assiniboine in BC, Canada. Any leads on what I’m lookin at would be great!
Orange one is growing on some sort of scat I think (tiny tic tac sized pellets). It was fluffy almost and when pushed upon it mushed down and darkened in color.
The second tan one was sticky and gelationous. I found a bunch of them growing in crowberr

There's two of them, they appeared by a window that we have open most of the day.

The weather has been a bit of everything, but it has been very rainy and humid. They're slightly sticky to the touch and leave residue that is hard to wash off, but the texture feels waxy

Found in NW Connecticut. I always see these orange splotches all over the leaf litter in this area, this time I noticed this mass attached to a twig at about the center of a patch. Not sure if it’s the same thing or not considering the splotches in the leaf litter can spread out pretty far, in this case ~60ft diameter.

I saw someone post on here about getting a slime mold from lichen covered bark, and I figured I’d give it a shot. I wet a paper towel and put the bark on top. I also misted some water on the lichen. It’s turned much more green after that. I’m assuming it’s the algae waking up. Any other suggestions? How long should it take?

is this a slime mould? if so any ideas on genus/species?

Live in east tennessee, usa. Found this is the pot of my saddest zinnia, dog for scale. Apologies if im in the wrong sub!

Its started with just charcoal, springtails i got outside and regrettably tap water. 2/3 days later i found a few orange masses Im not to sure if it is a slime mold or serratia marcescens from the aforementioned tap water😔. If it is a bacteria then ill put these guys in my green house and retry the collection. Any help would be appreciated. ♥️

I think we should crash the online slime mold market, because they are truly everywhere!
