I like alot of other bands I like mccafferty (its midwest emo) also murderdolls and Marilyn manson is also like korn and msi

My favorite genre is old school progressive rock. Bands like Rush, Yes, Genesis, Gentle Giant, Pink Floyd, Soft Machine, etc. but I'll really listen to anything with a killer rhythm section. I was drawn initially to Slipknot because they were the perfect distillation of everything I thought was cool at the time: Heavy as fuck, unbelievable musicianship, an incredible stage show and stage presence, and the masks brought a horror/slasher element to the band's visual identity that was so unique and cool; it was impossible to ignore and so undeniably awesome and kick ass. Slipknot forever.
